Didn't know if anyone has gotten one this year in globe yet. I'm hanging out in Org in globe and nothing yet.

Only one spawns every 30 minutes. I assume it's available, just annoying to find as usual.

Just as I was typing response to say, 'but I've BEEN here 30 mins', he spawned.

For other players, especially on populated servers:

1: Set your team with either [pet]Terrible Turnip[/pet] or any Corgi (Superbark), so you won't kill your Yeti. Go stand in the middle of the globe
2: Make a macro with /tar Globe Yeti and bind it to a key (e.g. Q)
3: Bind "Interact with NPC" to a another key (e.g. W)
4: Spam Q and W in quick succession, especially, when you have a feeling 30 minutes since last spawn is near.
5: Enjoy you were the first to target the little guy and you are already in combat with it.

A little note for double agents

I play on a realm which is mainly Alliance. I missed the Globe yeti in iron forge. I flipped to my Horde toon on the same realm.
The pet was caught by someone else on Alliance and I wondered if it appeared on Horde at the same time..not so.
About 5 to 7 minuted after missing it Alliance side, I caught it Horde side.

The takeaways?
The pet does not spawn exactly the same time on both factions. (In my experience)
The yeti being caught on one side of a realm does not reset the timer on the opposing faction's side. (nobody was at Org)
Dalaran is another globe location -I dont know the dynamics involving it's yeti.

I read that the spawn timer runs 25 to 35 min.
Also note that the pet is only active 40 to 45 seconds before it disappears..it runs fast in a big circle.

I decided to post this so double agents don't limit their hunt chances.

Got mine from Ironforge years ago, before I was even into Pet Battles ... seemed the fun thing to do at the time, as everyone else was doing it.
