Hi,

Is it just me or are there a lot of Obstructed areas in Stormsong. Mostly anywhere around water, or in the water? I'd appreciate any tips if you folks know the best way to solve this one.

You can try killing the battle pets in the water, and hope they respawn on land instead.

If you have a non-damaging player spell (such as [url=https://www.wowhead.com/spell=2908/soothe]Soothe[/url]) plus an agro-dropping ability (such as Feign Death or Shadowmeld), you can agro the battle pet in the water, pull it out, and drop agro. You need to be quick with this method, and engage it in battle before it runs back to its original spawn point.

I would submit a bug report to Blizzard about any battle pets you find in the water that cannot be battled. Note the pet, the zone, and the specific area in which they're spawning. Hopefully Blizzard can coax the critters closer to shore.

There are a metric ton of battle pet crabs in deep water, not sure why.

Noticed that. I'm reporting the coords of those I run across. It's a shame because sometimes, those in the water and unable to be battled are the only ones in the area at the time.

The water problem has been going on since at least Warlords. You can mine and gather herbs underwater so it seems like you should be able to battle pets also.

Yes, and no way to taunt them out. The waters all around Boralus are full of crabs and such. There was a quest area north of there that had a good 20 or 30 crabs sitting at the bottom of the sea.
