How to get Permanent Polymorphed / Hexed Battle Pets!

This is a pretty random, but amazing 7.3.5 Bug. If you Polymorph or Hex a Battle Pet and then battle / catch it, it will keep its new form! This can lead to some hilarious looking pets, such as Flying Sheeps if you catch a Moth. Also some unobtainable pet appearances, such as the Baby Polar Bear and Compy. :D

I'm assuming this will get fixed soon though...

It's posts like this that keep me checking WarCraftPets forum daily.

Never would've thought to polymorph a battle pet myself, and now have four in my journal that are such fun to parade around Dalaran. Yeah, pretty sure Blizz will eventually fix, but till then ......

Thanks !

Is it only a cosmetic bug, or does the pets behave differently than the original would?

Is there anything that will actually fly along side you using this bug? I can get a moth to be a flying turtle, but not to work while mounted.

This is awesome. I might actually have to make a wild pet pvp team just so I can confuse people with my Moth Ball shooting raptor, Nocturnal Striking sheep, and Feigning death monkey.

Just cosmetic I believe.

Not sure. Need to do some more testing!
