Hi Guys,

I am an Analyst by profession but am finding it hard to reverse engineer the formula used to give the rare lvl 25 battlepet a score of 62.1

The only information shared is that there is a multiplier of 0.1 fopr each of the Rarities

Poor 1.0
Common 1.1
Uncommon 1.2
Rare 1.3
Epic 1.4
Ledgendary 1.5

From this I have worked out that a poor level 1 pet has a score of 0.14, times this by the rarity and level works up to level 10 but then additional multipliers are applied and all my maths goes out of the window. There does not seem to be a consistant figure and the higher the levels after 10 the more if goes out of sync.

If anyone has the formula let me know.

Hugs & Kisses
Mone

If you reverse enginer the scores there isnt enough there to make a scoring table.

After reading the link and a quick glance at the numbers I want to say their scoring is based on cumulative total xp

level 2 is 50 xp level 3 is 110 xp
level 2 is worth .10 pts level 3 is .32
a level 3 has 160 total xp (50 from level 1 and 110 from level 2) which is consistant

Checked the first 4 levels and the math adds up

the missing factor was the XP chart they had on the link

so in short .10 for ever 50 XP before quality modifier

Apologies for the necro thread, but in case anyone is interested, I've been looking at this recently.
The formula used appears to be: (Cumulative Pet XP*1.3)/500. This is consistent with the Pet Scores on WowProgress.
