Oh noes!!!!!!

Hunting Lesson: Stormstruck Beaver
Kill 3 Beavers with my Direbeak and 2x Mech pets..

We all know, how much a pain in the behind it was to find one Beaver to catch, now we have to find THREE MORE!!!!IS

Is there any chance this is a random quest (as in cancel it and get a better one tomorrow) or fixed for this step in the Direbeak quest line?

Sorry, it's not random, they're making you jump through hoops for these little guys.

Also I hate to point out this out, but even after the 3x Stormstruck Beavers, you can't get the mount yet (unless your quest magically glitches and completes). The Direbeak questline requires a raid boss kill from *drumroll* Nighthold.

I have done Snowfeather and Shartalon raid quests in EN, so two mounts are soon mine...

Could be worse. Bloodgazer asks for 3 Kingfeathers. That was fun.

Kingfeathers are not a problem..

I had them done in less than 10 minutes and there was still some visible..

You are lucky then. On most servers, that is not the case.

I got the Viridian Sharptalon today, hopefully I should be able to get the Snowfeather mount tomorrow.

I've basically written this one off, because I despise PvP. And forcing us to PvP sucks. So I don't know that I'll bother with any of these quests since I'll just hit a wall there anyways. It's bad enough we have to do dungeons with them. My luck with PuGs has been the absolute worst this game has to offer, so that's another part of this game I try to avoid. It's just not fun.

it is not really PVP
The PVP WQ are just PVE WQ but flagged.... unless of course if you are on PVP realm ...

I went to the pond with the large elemental & near crashed ship. Killed all the critters I could find around both shores, (more than once) without aggroing the elemental. I had all the beavers I needed & extras before my dps Q even popped.

I considered farming for a blue quality it worked so well, but I wasn't sure if I was still being lucky.

I did about the same for the kingfeathers, neither 1 took very long.
