Heroes of the Storm in June

Blizzard announces a June 2nd official launch date for Heroes of the Storm, their free-to-play MOBA featuring characters from various Blizzard games that's currently in closed beta testing. Here's word on release plans, which will include a livestream the day before the launch:

Heroes of the Storm will launch with more than 30 playable Heroes and 7 dynamic Battlegrounds, each with unique challenges to overcome—and even more Heroes and Battlegrounds are on the way. Players can customize the look of their Heroes with a variety of skins, as well as switch between a stable of special mounts that help them cover ground on the battlefield more quickly.

To celebrate the launch of Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard will be holding a live-streamed event on June 1 in London, U.K.. Further information will be made available as the event draws closer.


Seem plausible that Graves might be awarded from this launch event.

Best case scenario: You get Graves by starting HotS.
Worst case scenario: You need X wins in HotS to get Graves.

As soon as Graves is secured, I'll uninstall HorS..

I'm actually really looking forward to HotS, so getting Graves should be an enjoyable experience.

My plan would be same as hearthstone - find a buddy that actually wants to play the game, and have him/her win the necessary games.

HotS is awesome fun, and I hate LoL. Blizzard toons, running round and killing stuff. Light-hearted. Just give it a go ya windbags!

I'm not looking forward to this haha. You all know every PvP team will be graves fossilized hatching......haha.

I agree, I've enjoyed it quite a bit! I'll likely continue playing casually when it goes live. I'm still patiently waiting for Overwatch, though.
