(US) Alliance Raid Pet Farming

Alright, Ally friends!

The Horde have mobilized, and they're going for the pets. Time for us to do the same.

Only problem is, I didn't raid in MoP. Not at all. And I'm just a lowly melee dps. So I don't bring much to the table other than a big mace, a big staff, and a good attitude. Sorry.

So we'll need a raid leader, and I'm assuming at least a tank and healer.

Who's with me? Would love to get this going ASAP.

ETA: Yes, this is a US group, sorry I didn't put that in the original post

I do old raids and used to prog tank, while maintaining my tanking spec on a couple of (3) toons.
Plus I could still use some of that rep from MoP raids (especially ToT) so I would be fine with joining a group on a regular basis for pet farming.

BTW Given I get a lot of requests for ads because of my WoWLazyMacro assistance, I do ask people message me here before just adding me so I know it is about old content raiding/ pets rather than fixing macros.

I NEVER implied the Horde are dirty and filthy. I mean, the Blood Elf Tournament Pet is a BROOM, for goodness sake!

I merely meant that we can't let them get all the fun pets and then sell them to us at really high prices. ;)

I was only on for about two hours last night, and that was completely spent leveling pets. I didn't even clear my garden or mine. SO tired.

But I will be on this evening and able to hopefully start putting this together. Necia, I'll need your battletag in order to add you.

What days/times work best for everyone? I'm usually available Fridays and Saturdays, and can be on at about 7 pacific most evenings.

Darolyn,

I sent you a btag request from captiva. I tried sending a message with the btag request but it just sent!

I'm also available just about any time - weekdays from 6-7:30pm Eastern are a little tough since that is dinner time at my place.

I also sent a friend request, meant to add a note in with it but didn't see where to put it. I'm the one ending in #1746. My main is a 664 hunter, but I also have less geared 100 tank and healer alts if needed.

I've been having trouble keeping my computer connected to battle.net, so I'm sorry I haven't accepted any friend requests. What days work best for everyone?

So I think the weekdays work best for me. Weekends are a little iffy as spending time with my bf or my roomie trumps WoW.

What? You have a life? Um...people with lives aren't allowed. ;)

J/K. We'll work it out. How many 100s does it take to run the raids, anyway? Anyone know?

LOL@you have a life. :)

Not sure about SoO but did normal ToT earlier on Horde. We had 5-6 of us... one 90? I can't remember and it was only a few hours ago.

It will take
1 Tank,
1 Off tank/Dps,
1 Healer,
1 ranged dps,
1 any other DPS

so basically 5 people. With 5-10 the raid will scale to a 10 man raid from 11-25 it will scale normally.

If the raid members are geared from 100 random heroics (ilvl 630) it will be trivial. If the raid members are geared to LFR (640 ilvl) it will be laughable

In all honesty, many of the fights we will need have been soloable since 6.0 dropped so my group make up is very conservative.

I'm at 634, as dps. I can switch some gear around and make some more crafted gear to make myself more appealing as an off tank, but me tanking is usually a death sentence. I'd like to set this up for next weekend if possible for a first run, with Saturday evening being my best time, Friday during the day would be second, depending on people's availability. We can adjust the numbers after a first run to see what we could have done better.
