why mining do not have 2 pet like herbing ?

why we cannot get a pet with Draenic Stone like we can with the seed ,I really dont know what to do with the stone anymore , my work order always maxed .....

I've wondered this as well. I wouldn't mind purchasing a mining-related pet for 1k Draenic Stones. Maybe they couldn't think of/create a suitable enough pet to add in time for WoD's release?

i am seeing some difference between herbing and mining in wod (i left skinning a side since Blizz completly forgot this third gathering prof)

Mining give XP between 40 and 1950 XP (depend on node)
Herbing give always 40XP

Herbing give 2 Pets
Mining give 1 pets

that the 2 major diff i can see.... why put difference in those 2 gathering prof ....really wonder if it was intentionnal....

not commenting on the fact skinning do not get kwak!!!!
