Trunks is a little ghost, which I didn't exactly know until I got him... what's his story, aside from being "created with equal parts adventure and spirit"? I bet he was one of the baby mammoths in Borean Tundra that didn't get freed from a poachers trap in time? :o
I'm sorry little Trunks. I tried so hard to be quick and efficient with that quest!! I tried to set you free! *sniffle*

Think pinnochio, the puppet that really wanted to be a real boy. You took the elekk plushie with you, used it everywhere, it took knocks with you. Suddenly after using its moves wishing and pretending to be a real elekk, it suddenly goes bamf. Being real.

How have you seen all four sets of Tournament bosses already? I'm worried it will take me months. I've been doing the CT every week for almost 3 months now (one celestial pet to go), and I've yet to see one of the groups. Are you able to do the CT on different servers more than once a week?

I have also finished this achievement. The only thing I was waiting on was the Darkmoon Faire.

The Celestial Tournament tamers appear in rotation and always follow the same order. They aren't randomized or anything like that. Three consecutive weeks in the tournament will result in completing all Celestial Tournament opponents including both the tamer groups and of course the celestials themselves.

That order is as follows:

1. Lorewalker Cho, Dr. Ion Goldbloom, and Sully "The Pickle" McLeary + Chi-Chi, Xu-Fu, Yu'la, and Zao
2. Wrathion, Chen Stormstout, and Taran Zhu + Chi-Chi, Xu-Fu, Yu'la, and Zao
3. Blingtron 4000, Wise Mari, and Shademaster Kiryn + Chi-Chi, Xu-Fu, Yu'la, and Zao

So currently our opponents are group 3 (Blingtron 4000, Wise Mari, and Shademaster Kiryn), next week we will face group 1 (Lorewalker Cho, Dr. Ion Goldbloom, and Sully "The Pickle" Mcleary), and the week after that we will face group 2 (Wrathion, Chen Stormstout, and Taran Zhu). After which we will find ourselves back at group 3.

Also, the Celestial Tournament quest is account-wide and therefore can only be completed once regardless of server or faction.

Hope this helps :)

Love this concept!
Great pet! Do you guys think it will be useful in battle? Or mostly a cool collectors pet?

The sets of three trainers rotates every week. It should always follow the same pattern. Start it Monday night, get the first three. Tuesday at reset the next three and then the last set the next Tuesday. You only have to take out the three before the Celestials, so you can easily leave and heal if you have bad luck.

The sets are:
Taran Zhu, Chen Stormstout, Wrathion
Sully "The Pickle" McLeary, Dr. Ion Goldbloom, Lorewalker Cho
Wise Mari, Blingtron 4000, Shademaster Kiryn.

I don't think he's very optimal for PvP, but I was thinking of using him for this week's 10 just for the wow factor. I'll finish leveling him on the Feasels today.

Trunks should be named Casino. If you strike jackpot, he will hit every time with his attack and obliterate the opposition. But other times, missing constantly.

[ability]Nimbus[/ability] imho is what you should open with, then swap to Trunks. [ability]When Elekks Fly[/ability] rising to a more tolerable 70% hitchance.

Though I feel iffy about using [ability]Moonfire[/ability] on Trunks. Sure it adds a bit more damage, as well making When Elekks Fly go first, Trunks will be quite behind in damage at that time. Having taken 2 hits by the time you finally start to unload When Elekks Fly. Then I think its better to start casting When Elekks Fly as soon you swap in to improve the damage done before you are dead, and taking Ethereal to absorb a big hit instead.

This sounds kind of lame.
I feel like this pet should be way more deadly for all the effort that goes into him :-I.

Have you looked at his slot 1 attack [ability]When Elekks Fly[/ability]? I daresay its the highest damaging slot 1 attack in the game. Just having a 50% chance to hit as a counter for doing roughly twice the damage of a standard attack. And if moonlight buffed, it always strikes first.
