Thought I would summarise the pet sources to figure out where I'll be spending my time pet-wise in WoD. I was a little surprised.

CRITTER: 1 Wild, 2 World Event (Valentines; Pilgrim's Bounty), 1 Garrison (Barn L3)
HUMANOID: 1 Profession (Mining), 1 Event (Blizzcon 2015)
DRAGON: 1 Quest, 1 Drop (UBRS)
FLYING: 5 Quest, 1 Profession (Engineering), 12 Wild, 4 Vendor, 5 Drops, 1 Achievement (Draenor Safari), 1 Promo (CE Edition)
UNDEAD: 2 Quest, 1 Profession (Archaeology), 1 Vendor, 1 Drop
MAGIC: 2 Profession (Tailoring, Cooking), 4 Drop, 1 Achievement (An Awfully Big Adventure)
ELEMENTAL: 1 Quest, 2 World Event (Midsummer, Brewfest), 2 Profession (Blacksmithing, Herbalism), 1 Garrison (Herb Garden), 2 Drop (1 Limited to Molten Core Anniversary), 1 Vendor, 1 Achievement (10th Anniversary)
BEAST: 1 Quest, 7 Wild, 3 Vendor, 1 Pet Store
AQUATIC: 1 Quest, 2 Profession (Fishing), 1 Drop, 6 Wild
MECHANICAL: 3 Profession (2 Engineering, 1 Archaeology), 1 Vendor, 1 Drop


So to conclude there will be:
Wild Pets: 26
Quest: 11
Profession: 12
World Event: 4
Promotional Event: 4
Drop: 15 (1 Time-Limited)
Vendor: 10
Pet Store: 1
Achievement (excl. Promo Events): 2
Garrison: 2

Rather weird that the mechanical axebeak is flying and not, you know... mechanical.

that's 87 Pets.
I was under the impression the total was more 93 new pets in Wod
am i missing something ?

EDIT: NVM you did not include pets from 6.0.2.
