I'm not sure where else to put this, but I was playing around with the WoW Modelviewer to see if I could find any battle pets to reskin (for my own amusement- I want to make some classic tabbies, ocicats, and bengal cats) and I saw a couple of things. One was a spectral cat (I forgot to take a screenshot).
Another was two skins that I don't believe I've seen in game before.
The first one was called "Cringer" and is green with orange stripes.


The second was called "boots" and appears to be black and white with a ringed tail. I've seen the cringer model before and its obvious where its from, but the boots one was strange to me.


So, the question is, do you think they will add these in to the game at some point or has anyone come across these models in use on Beta?

I'd love to have the Cringer one!

My hunters favourite pet is the original "Cringer" skin cat from Felwood and it would be awesome to have a "baby" version of it.

And THEN Blizz can give us a Battlecat mount and the world will be just about perfect!

I think I've seen the spectral cat as a future Hallow's End pet on Wowhead, but these two are new to me - the boots one in particular is kind of weird, because it's a perfectly normal-looking cat skin and yet I've never seen it in-game. Maybe someone wasn't happy with the tail (which does look a bit unnatural) and it ended up never getting used?

I would LOVE to have the Cringer one and a Battle Cat mount. I'd like to have "boots" as well, but then I am a cat lover with 15 cats in my house. I used to have 63 cats on my farm.
I'd love for them to have some cows that can be captured. I only have two cows, but I named one of them Alleria.

I looked at the spectral version and it seems all of the cat skins are available in spectral and they are also available with the hallowsend hat in the modelviewer.




The tail on Boots does look a bit odd. I sort of wonder if one of the devs modeled it after their own cat or a cat that they knew.

LOL. Oops. I changed it to fur textures instead.

Hahahaha! Even though I knew what you meant, I got some interesting visuals pop into my head!

Well, it looks like the "boots" texture has been used on Widget the Departed.

I just happened to see the green one at Venomspite in Northrend.

He's in the building next to the inn, and is a level one named Patchy.

He appears to belong to Junior Apoth Lawrence.
