Mine was my [pet]Wolpertinger[/pet]. And, I levelled him GREEN! Oh, the shame.

What was yours?

I didn't know much about the game at all, having only played for a couple months but I had managed to pick up a couple pets from wild battles etc and started liking it. My son's friend was running me through Molten Core just to show me some of his favorite areas and things he had done throughout the years (maybe pick up xmog? I don't remember.)

Anyway, the mark of flame dropped and he gave it to me, telling me I would probably like it since I do pet battles. I stuck with him all the way to 25 even though I picked up a lot better pets along just because he did so well for me at the lower levels demolishing other pets haha.

I don't remember which one was my first anymore but my initial team for leveling to 25 was Snarly, Grinder and a Fossilized Hatchling. I didn't have much idea what I was doing at that point and just picked 3 rare pets to start with. It ended up being a pretty good team with a decent amount of heals and sandstorm.

Mine were Mechanopeep (as a green!), then Tranquil Mechanical Yeti (also green) and Darkmoon Zeppelin. Yes, I did an all mechanical team. Worked well enough until I got to Major Payne...

Mechanopeep still has a spot in my Major Payne team. It's a bit of revenge!

Anubisath Idol. I went the easy route. LOL!

Not really having a clue what I was dong then, I got lucky and got a p/p Infinite Whelping right off the bat. SO being a dragon lover he was my first lvl 25.

Son of Animus.

I think getting this little dude in an LFR was what got me to start leveling pets in the first place. I'd always been a fan of the Pokemon games, and already had 100 pets from various stuff, but I hadn't touched the pet battles until I got this guy and wanted to level it. So my first pair was the Son of Animus and a Panther Cub (from the level 85 troll questline), which was a good duo to level up with against all the beasts and critters in EK.

Blue dragon hawk hatchling! It was a mistake looking back because he was so weak at everything... But back then (back then... We make it sound like this came out 10 years ago) I didn't know what a green was from a rare! Now I'm trying to get rid of all my greens!

Started off with my first pets.

1.) Panda Cub =D.
2.) "Mini Devil Man" Mini Diablo [Had no idea who he was at the time]
3.) "Alien Dog" - Zerg [Also cluess about this creature back in the day]

I actually only played three pets for most of my pet capturing days. So my first 25s were phoenix hatchling, cinder kitten, and a healing newt. I honestly can't remember which got to 25 first.

I got the Ji-kun hatchling and the Sandling like 30 minutes apart in LFR. I think getting those two were what kicked me back into pet battles. I'd done enough to get my first three to 25 but it was awesome getting these two pets. It made me want to get all the others.

Hmm.. I was running [pet]Lil' Smoky[/pet], [pet]Celestial Dragon[/pet] and hmmm.. can't remember the 3rd member..
At 20, I came across a rare [pet]Kun Lai Runt[/pet] and squeaked through by the skin of my teeth to capture him and he promptly took the 3rd spot..
Overall, I did well until the guy in Northrend down past the dragon shrine.. Had to make some adjustments to my team to beat him..

[pet]Panda Cub[/pet] and [pet]Mini Diablo[/pet] Shortly after. Who doesn't want a little baby panda named Steve Dave at their side? Loyal companion that one.

Cant remember which of Darkmoon tonk or L'il Tarecgosa hit 25 first, as they were my 2 core battle pets from the moment pet battles were introduced, i dont use either as much anymore but both are still in my favourites list.

It was always one of my favourite pets back from when I grinded mobs until it was mine. Never left my side since and after all the hard work and years of friendship I thought I owed a special place in my team for it, actually packed a pretty little punch too :3

My first 25 was a Clockwork Gnome. It's still one of my go to pets.

Yep, Clockwork Gnome was one of my first too. Not sure of the exact order, but my Searing Scorchling and Crawling Claw were also among the first to be levelled.

[pet]Kun-Lai Runt[/pet] was my first one.

Didn't rly know what i was doing, but found a blue P/P one the first i encountered and it was cool as hell!
But,the first one from 1 was [pet]Chrominius[/pet]

Pretty sure it was Celestial Dragon. I was so happy to get to 150 before MoP came out back when it was hard to get 150 pets on 1 toon.

[pet]Hyacinth Macaw[/pet], but I leveled one of each class at the same time by rotating them as I went so I had 10 within an hour or so. Of course that was before much was known about breeds so I didn't even know until later that I could have leveled better ones.
