Does anyone know if this pet is only available to folks who pre-buy WoD or will it also be part of the deluxe package. I ask because I would like to get this pet, but I really dislike buying software before it is even in Alpha testing.

You get it when you upgrade your account to the WoD digital deluxe version... or whenever you purchase the boxed CE...

It will be available with the CE box for as long as you can find them! I have upgraded the majority of my expansion packs after the fact, and the pet always finds a good home!
