Will there be a new pet for this years blizzcon???? Usually you guys know first. I'll be getting the virtual ticket for sure if there's a new pet

Odds are there will be. As soon as it's put in the game or PTR we'll post it!

Does purchasing a VIrtual Ticket get you the pet, or do you need to actually go?

Historically, the virtual ticket nets you the pet as well as the SC2 and D3 goodies (portraits, banners, etc).

How hardcore do I need to be about purchasing my virtual ticket? Do they sell out?

Virtual tickets are limitless as far as I know. You can buy them all the way up to the day of the event I think (if not, very close to it).

On the other hand the tickets to actually attend the convention are very limited and sell out very fast.

What do you think the pet would be this year?

Since WoD will be the big thing this Blizzcon, I wager it will be a related pet. Unless they reveal an entirely new game.

But my bet is on Lil' Grommash, or Gromky the Murloc Blademaster.

Yea, they do generally go with related pets. They also have been doing the Murloc theme, and I don't see anyone complaining. I hope it's something like what DK said above. No way I can get the time off work, so Virtual ticket for me!

It'll be a murloc type pet of sometime, probably tied to WoD. They always follow the theme of what is coming out. Thus [pet]Deathy[/pet] was given out at blizzcon when Cata was release. [pet]Murkablo[/pet] was another when Diablo came out. [pet]Murkalot [/pet] was in celebration of one of their other games. It's always a murloc, though.

You can't buy them after blizzcon so their prices double on ebay afterward. Murkalot is an awesome pet. I was hesitant at first but I'm glad I got him. He's too cute for words.

I'm still kicking myself because i didn't get last years pet. This year I won't make the same mistake!
