NPC battle pet skins

So I just had a random thought: since there are plenty of tamers that have unique pet skins (like the abyssal in felwood), why not make those pets a rare drop (ashes of a'lar rare) from that particular tamer via a new bag as a reward? Obviously pets that are based off of CE or promotions would be exclued, but I know I've always wanted that tiger cub from Northern Stranglethorn's tamer daily. Anyone else have ideas?
