Update week of August 1 (Build 24727):

• New achievements for Argus (Family Familiar-style for Argus Pet Battle WQs)
• 23 new pets, 12 of which are wild
• Crysa and Bert encounters now [url=https://twitter.com/perksnpeeves/status/893369586032168960]scale in level[/url] to the highest level pet on your team

Update July 25 (Build 24651):

• Raiding with Leashes V: Cuteaclysm! 16 new pets!
• Celestial Calf now cageable on PTR.

Three new pets in Build 24473 (June 28):

• Ghost Shark - Pet Journal lists it as a vendor item from Nat Pagle fishing, but could be placeholder info
• Dibbler - Drop from Leprous Sack of Pet Supplies, from [url=https://www.warcraftpets.com/community/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=17047&p=135792#p135824]new trainer daily quest[/url]
• Naxxy - Vendor pet during Hallow's End, costs 150 Tricky Treats

Also new: Summon Random Favorite Battle Pet button - found in the Pet Journal next to the Revive Battle Pets button

Edit: Wowhead datamined some [url=http://www.wowhead.com/news=266659/new-7-3-ptr-creature-and-mount-models-spoilers]new dog models[/url]. Some versions are even dressed up with hat and bandanna!

Wowhead also datamined a [url=http://ptr.wowhead.com/spell=241072/golden-retriever]Golden Retriever[/url], possibly tied to the new creature models they found.

If Naxxy is a mini-necropolis... they are awesome.

There are also these strings:

As we have got Random Fav Mount already, the /rfp as a button is a logical continuation.

For Naxxy, one can hope that the patch is released before the October!
If they use that model seen in beta, I also expect Hearthy at some point.

Glad to see that the Gnomeregan dungeon isn't scrapped (because there is also a mini event related to Gnomeregan and I'd been thinking things). Maybe we get a reference to Grime-Encrusted Objects as a currency, and that machine inside as a vendor? Who knows.

Next stuff: anniversary/BlizzCon items?

Instead, it's a drop from a new pet trainer (similar to Crysa) - Environeer Bert <Leprous Pet Tamer>

These abilities, man. Lazey has summed up on Wowhead what happens here and where are bugs at the moment. Because of a lack of other pages, it's placed here just as Quint posted above.

And the pet itself… looks like something interesting for PvP, though a low baseline speed suggests that the technique won't be easy.
But I'm not asking for an OP specimen.

No Pet Dungeon as of right now.

This new trainer is similar to [url=http://www.wowhead.com/npc=115286/crysa]Crysa[/url] - an independent Pet Battle encounter where you face a team of epic level 25 pets of all one pet type (this time it's all Mechanical).

Yeah think this time we were too fast expecting Gnomeregan to be the next pet dungeon when we've seen the mech spider reward, Leprous supply bag etc.

Those were pretty reasonable assumptions, since they hadn't given a sign they were going to continue with the Crysa-style tamers yet.

I am still pretty sure that the pet dungeon is going to be in the patch as well. This is just the initial PTR build.

Looks like Sun Darter Hatchling will be changed from critter to dragonkin type in 7.3 [url]http://ptr.wowhead.com/npc=61087[/url]

Nothing new about the Ghost Shark in Build 7.3.0.24500 but a good guess is a relation to a faction vendor [url]http://www.wowhead.com/faction=2097[/url] that was already discovered in 7.2 but then removed via hotfix.

Firebomb now lasts 9 turns. Ouchie. Doing a lot less damage though (58 v elemental pet instead of 176). Still best to kill quick.

Considering you can't zone out from the Grom'gol transporter, and there being some rather nasty guards at the entrance to Gnomeregan -- I have a suspicion he's Alliance only.

A little technical note, @Flohsakk -- the thumbnails of your images are not displayed, one needs to right-click the "Image" text to trigger a dropdown menu and take a look.

By the way, initially the shielding spells don't take racial modifiers into consideration (you won't [ability]Batter[/ability] against a beast's [ability]Trihorn Shield[/ability], for example, even though it has a bonus against beasts), though I can't tell you exactly why your result was 7 and not the other.

@Nisara do you mean that the teleporter doesn't work at all?

On Golden Retriever's Lick -- yet another duplicated icon, I don't like that! Especially since the ability is a copycat (no pun intended) of something else aswell.
Depending on the speed, this pet might be a replacement for [pet]Molten Corgi[/pet] in some specific Tanaan/Deadmines strats, except it has nothing to do while meeting flyers. Alas.

At least the [ability]Warp[/ability]'s typo is partially fixed.

Nope, I'm doin' my Bert PTR testing on a Horde char. But yes, I died when I wanted to pass the Lvl 115 Elite guards to get to the elevator

@Paladance Yeah sorry, I didn't use any thumbnails and the BBCode configuration for this forum limits pictures to a max-width so people don't blow up the forum design by posting 4K pictures Usually new PTR stuff for EU people is happening late at night, sometimes I don't want to waste more bed time by generating thumbnails and better looking posts

With today's patch I've not been able to complete a fight. The game keeps crashing during the pet battle. Leech Seed always crashes it when I use it. Also tried at Ashlei in case it was Environeer Bert related. Still crashed.

Also had one other crash at Bert using another ability (poison lash ability I think, although I'd used it several times without crashing during the fight)

Yeah happens to me too. Wanted to do more testing on Bert... crash. Tried multiple times, crashed without using a specific ability. Tried garrison Squirt fight... crash. Pandaria wild pet battle... crash. So this build is not for pet battle testing

Here we go again! Raiding with Leashes V: Cuteaclysm was added in today's PTR build. Has pets from Bastion of Twilight, Blackwing Decent, Throne of the Four Winds, Firelands, and Dragon Soul. Meta reward is called Amalgam of Destruction.

Gonna try to get some pictures when realms are back.
