Just read on another site there is 3 new pets in the non instanced highmaul zone that can be obtained from drops off new rares being added there in patch 6.2.1.

There is also apparently a new rare behind the dark portal, but no info on drops. The Highmaul pets all looked to be based off the adds from the Imperitor fight.

Also of note, the new Star Craft expansion has a battle pet Archon. Additionally folks can buy the complete collection (which includes the previous releases obviously) also pet the past Baneling and Thor pets.

This ends up being pretty sweet for me, since I never bothered to get them when they were released.
