Yeah those are fine, the only things on the do not trade list are Vanilla CE pets, murky and tyrael. So you are free to make trades for the store pets in exchange for pets, stones, pet levelling and the like.

A few suggestions to make things easier for you as well, If you have limited number of stones you should list which kinds and how many you have, also people tend to like it when people have a lit of tradeable pets on hand so they can look it over. And I'd also suggest trying to limit that list of tradeable pets to only ones with like 1k in value or more, it is really painful to sort through a list of 100 pets and 90 of them are pets worth 50g or less because they are all over.

Oh and don't forget to list your btag so people can contact you that way as well!

Those are all good tips. Remember while you can do nice filtering and sorting on your own pets to get a list of tradable pets that you have duplicates for we can't do that same thing for your pets so it's much harder for us to see what you might have for trade. We can't even filter your pets to see only your tradable pets.

Also I'd suggest that you expect ~1k = $1 so for the normal $10 price for pets you should probably plan on 10k worth of pet(s). That isn't set in stone by any means but it seems to be a fairly common conversion rate.

I agree kpb, the commodity price for gold is set mostly by gold sellers...and that is the expected conversion rate. Ill update my part of the thread once I get home, and can check on how many of each item I have.

Well, I suppose my logic is what I see them spam in trade. If not them, what determines the price in your opinion? If U.S.D. vs ingame value was consistent, then the gaurdian cub would not have been selling for 4-5k per. If this was the case, TCG mounts such as the mottled drake wouldnt have median values so low either.

Yeah there is a lot of weird things, the guardian cub being 4-5k for a while was one of them. 2 factors back then hit the guardian cub though, they were placed at 5 dollars for a while and there was a massive amount of them that hit at one time a year or so ago at well, maybe hacked accounts bought a ton and flooded the markets, but now the cub has recovered.

I think the reason why gold values vs real dollars is different is due to the risk factor with buying gold, where you are risking your wow account by doing so. In situations like these where it is trading pet store pets for gold the trades are safer. I'm just really guessing at this point as I don't really know what the real reasons could be.

Also on a side note message me at Faelar#1331 I might be able to work a trade for the cinder kitten or the Rag, I've got some bnet balance and I should be able to use mine to gift a pet out, so we can work out a trade.

Just worked out a trade with them and they had no problems handing me the in game pets first and I gifted them the pets they wanted. Was quick and painless and just letting everyone know they are a good trade partner, thanks again and welcome to the site
