Next week, December 17th at noon server time, the first annual WarcraftPets family of guilds Christmas party and White Elephant gift exchange.
What is a White Elephant gift exchange?
White Elephant is when you bring a wrapped gift, everyone takes a number and you can either go for a new, wrapped gift, or steal one of the previous gifts. Gifts can only be stolen twice.
Example:
1 goes first and picks a gift. They open it in front of everyone. It's a Fishy! Yay!
2 is up next. 2 has always wanted a Fishy, so 2 takes the Fishy from 1.
1 goes again, cannot steal the Fishy back (One round cooldown!) so opens a new gift. It's a Brown Snake.
3 is up. 3 picks a new gift. It's a Murky (Yuck!).
4 is up. 4 picks Fishy from 2. 2 cries. Fishy is now tapped out, so 4 gets to learn it and is now immune to CC effects.
2 is up again, can steal any thing except Fishy, or pick a new gift.
2 is bitter over the loss of Fishy, so picks a brand new gift. It's another Fishy!
5 is up. ETC.

If you'd like to participate, please bring a wrapped gift (Pet or vendor trash!). One person will be Santa and hold all the gifts, so no one knows what is available until it's opened!

What a fun party

The party was very fun, we had 12 attending this year. I do not remember who ended up with what, we had a few stolen gifts but no Fishies were present.

Thanks to everyone that helped,or just came, it wouldn't have been the same without you!

None of us thought to take any screen shots.

After all the unwrapping (& stealing) we all ported to Dal for a Bling 6k no Knockoff Blingtron joined us though.

I am already looking forward to next year!

I am so glad someone took a pic! I guess you were already gone when I asked & no one knew of any, very glad we were wrong! I think it is a good pic too, I don't see anything about it to make you feel like a bad photographer.
