Re: Cristoph von Feasel
Got it in one try, but did not plan for only two pets. Warbot S/S Grassland Cottontail Clockwork Gnome 1. Warbot - Minefield 2. Switch to Rabbit. 3. Rabbit dodges whirlpool and flurry the Bubble and proceed to kill Syd. Direhorn eat Minefield and when rabbit dead Warbot come in, puts another minefie...

Re: What PVP team comps are you currently running?
Was recording a PVP video yesterday and went 2-2 with Kun Lai Runt and Fell Flame. I am still on the fence on that 3rd spot, Darkmoon Tonk worked nicely with the minefield, but maybe there is something that synergies better with the other two. Wonder if we faced each other. Both of us on eu-aggrama...

Re: About Sky-Bo
I think S/S is the way to go. While MPD 309 speed Decoy is damn annoying, 325 speed Decoy can be even more so. First it means that 325 speed Flurry is no longer sure to bring the Decoy down as it can easily do against the MPD(my main users is S/S Grasland Cottontail and P/P Fjord Worg Pup with Dazzl...

Re: Decoy buff or AoE bug?
re the other Avalanche-type moves interacting with decoy in the same way? If they do, I get the feeling that S/S Sky-Bo would be quite nice MPD counter. Finally got a decently priced S/S Sky-Bo(yes, couldn't wait for prices to drop more :P ). First fight I actually ran into an MPD and it was sweet....

Excellent. Anyone tested Sandstorm vs Elementals?Poofah wrote:The Tail Sweep change is live now. It works properly when same speed, ie it deals the low-end dmg. The Arcane Slash bug appears to also have been fixed.

Re: Must-have Multiple Breeds
Here is a couple of pets I keep multiple breeds of: Infinite Whelpling. The P/P breed wrecks DMF trainer(old one). P/S breed is a beast in PvP. Bonkers. S/S one is a PvP powerhouse and with some luck it will solo Yu-La in Celestial Tournament. P/P is dangerous in a slightly different way though, jus...

Re: Tail Sweep change on beta
As long as they avoid the Arcane Slash bug(same speed no attack) I feel this is better. The attacks will not get double penalty against Shell-type abilities for example. Though it might be dangerous to make similar move to Conflagrate or Mana Surge for example, since they hit hard enough as is. i.e....

I would think a spirit spikes * 2.5 would be quite hurtful enough.

Re: 6.0.2 First impressions
So far I am seeing a greater variety of pets in use. To me that makes things much more interesting than just having to counter certain pets over and over. Of course there is still plenty of MPD and Fossilized hatchlings. Sooner or later a new top-tier of pets will reveal themselves, but I'm happy fo...

Re: Cursed Birman and Widget the Departed thoughts
It's especially juicy how Prowl interacts with Spirit Spikes boosting its damage without being consumed which can confer a major advantage under certain conditions as you can kill off a slower and lower HP pet while lining up burst for a fresh one if you know they're going to attack. Good catch, if...

Re: Pet of the Month - Feline Familiar
As said it works really well vs wild pets. The one thing that really holds it back in PvP is its low health of 1221. You will hardly have time to cast Stoneskin without losing a substantial amount of health for little gain so your only "defense" is to dish out your damage as fast as possible. It doe...

Re: Cursed Birman and Widget the Departed thoughts
After trying them both out Widget is of course the most obviously powerful pet of the two. Call Darkness + Spectral Strike both changes the weather, inhibits healing and does huge damage. It will still suffer 40% to hit drop if an elemental is switched in. But at least Spectral Strike won't suffer t...

Re: Decoy buff or AoE bug?
Agree fully with this.Poofah wrote: This makes Decoy a better AoE counter, but in most situations the AoE change is a buff for the AoEs. MPD in particular got 2 buffs that it absolutely didn't need. (not to mention that MPD is one of the biggest beneficiaries of DAH's extinction)

Re: Decoy buff or AoE bug?
Hi, me again. So is this a bug or intentional? Are the other Avalanche-type moves interacting with decoy in the same way? If they do, I get the feeling that S/S Sky-Bo would be quite nice MPD counter. I thought that this is how Avalanche worked pre patch? Though I didn't test it out on PTR, I expec...

Decoy buff or AoE bug?
Hi, me again. So I was trying out my newly leveled Cursed Birman. I teamed it with a Celestial Dragon and when facing a MPD i noticed something I was not expecting. MPD used Decoy and I used Arcane Storm. Arcane Storm is an AoE move that after the patch has had the Avalanche treatment. Still it is a...

Re: Cursed Birman and Widget the Departed thoughts
While Widget is kind of Crow/Bigglesworth with an obvious and powerful combination I think Birman might pretty much be a perfect partner in a moonlight team. Spirit Claws will always hit. Spirit Spikes will do 10% additional damage. Devour will heal for 25% more. And it is still undead and have both...

Elemental Sandstorm bug
So ran a couple of fights with a Sandling. I got the distinct feeling that the Sandstorm no longer shielded it. Seemed like they lost that fix in the patch. I am pretty sure that both Imp Immolation and Infected Squirrel Creeping Fungus hit the Sandling for full amount. And MPD Thunderbolt hit the S...
