Re: Crow and Gilnean Raven
What happened? I saw the blue post about the targeted nerfs, yet for all the talk I can't see any changes to my my SS Raven and PS Crow in game? They are the same as always. So what was all the fuss about that I clearly missed? The base speed of all the Crow type birds (Including the Dread Hatchlin...

Re: Polished Pet Charms
I've got quite a few from wild pet battles, 15 I think from about 40 battles... Less than the 19 ish from a single WQ, extremely bad value :o Cripes yes you wouldn't want to make that your main method of gathering charms as It would drive you bonkers farming bee after frog after bee. Still I guess ...

Re: Island Expedition Pets
I've done about 50 normal expeditions. I've got Octopode Fry twice, the Kobold Candle toy, two rep items and a bunch of bags of dubloons(which aren't interesting enough to count as loot). I have to assume that heroic and mythic have better drop rates becaue as it is I can see this dying. Blizzard j...

Re: Island Expedition Pets
Must be a really small drop chance as I've spent hours doing Island Expeditions and not seen anything other than the occasional coin purse.

Re: Polished Pet Charms
I've had a few drop from PvE battles in the wild but most of mine have come from the Mission table and World quests. You seem to be able to accumulate them at a good rate though. Oddly PvP battles still reward Shiny Pet charms on those rare occasions when a reward drops. This will probably be fixed ...

This seems to be fixed now. I purchased my Gruntling this morning after finding it locked for the last couple of days.

Re: Trivia: What are the four - no, FIVE - pets ...
Does that tiny difference for Peddle feet actually have any effect at all in battles? Like Doonge says at level 25 the stats look completely consistent with an S/S breed 8/8/8 pet.

Re: Trivia: What are the four pets ...
Woot my pet trivia knowledge is strong! Shame my brain doesn't retain useful info so easily!
Actually while on a roll I'm going to have a guess at one of the othets. Is it the [pet]elekk plushie[/pet] with its huge health pool?

Re: Legion Class Pets in BFA
I remember seeing in one of the first interviews they gave on BfA Bliz confirmed they would not be removing the order hall pets. I believe they also said they would look at the requirement for obtaining the pets to see if they needed relaxing a little but my memory is a bit fuzzy on that point.

Re: PVP pet battles better if only 1 family per team?
It has downsides: you can't really play a team in a half-dozen matches to get a feel for it. You can't take two pets and Seek A Third to go with them. That might actually be a good thing. After all you are really playing abilities rather than pets so if you have to swap to pets with similar move se...

Re: PVP pet battles better if only 1 family per team?
I kind of agree with you Rosqo but like Graine says it won't really stop people playing OP teams and the same small pool of OP pets. How about limiting the number of times any given pet can be used in PvP in any 24 hour period? That way players would be forced to try out all sorts of new pets if the...

Re: Average stats ?
For PvP usually the most important stats are Speed and Power, and in that order. There is no benefit however in being too much faster than the opposing pet as you will be wasting points that could otherwise have be used to increase health and power. You want to go first but if you sacrifice too much...

Re: Average stats ?
All pets have the same number of base points to allocate to strength, speed and health and these points are used to calculate their stats at each level. On top of these they allocate bonus points determined by their breed. Like Grainne mentioned a completely even allocation of these starting points ...

Re: Unloved pets appreciation thread
I would make the case for the [pet]River Calf[/pet] as a fairly useful pet that sees very little play. This beast family pet has a really nice diverse set of moves and is able to choose between Humanoid, Aquatic and Beast attacks with an option for self synergy Stun + [ability]Takedown[/ability] or ...

Re: PvP matchup question
Just had a look at your collection and its taking shape nicely I'd say. One tip I might offer is if your going to be doing a bit of PvP your pets speed can be an important factor. Not all pets of course as some are better in other breeds due to their move sets. I would recommend however picking up a...

Re: PvP matchup question
I could be wrong but it looks like that opponent is using a strategy of backline healing and fairly tanky/evasive pets to support this. You might try adding a darkness bird to your team with a base speed of over 160. These will comfortably 1-1 the Teroclaw and disrupt the backline healing strategy. ...

Re: Undead racial
Is the Undead Racial that overpowered? True its probably the best racial but other than Bone Serpents it doesn't feel that bad going up against undead enemy pets. Maybe rather than Nerf the undead racial Blizzard should give a buff to some of the weaker racials instead? I would vote for example to d...
