Re: Unborn Val'kyr bugged?
The ability can miss if you are blinded. It can be dodged/avoided and it can be blocked(bubble/decoy etc). Avoiding the Haunt used to kill the Val'kyr but not anymore. What I think you are referring to is that you try to haunt when the undead racial is active. IE you have been killed in the current ...

Re: So which is the top-rated Draenor pets?
Some I feel are quite powerful, but I have a long way yet to test out all new pets. S/S Sky-Bo. Flamethrower, while somewhat weak(especially when facing critters) for a spammable attack it leaves a unavoidable DoT and absolutely murders other mechanicals. Sticky Grenade, unless hitting low it will m...

Re: Lets discuss the Draenor pets
Ive aquired and leveled [pet]Son of Sethe[/pet]. at first glance it looks like a staller pet alike [pet]Ruby Droplet[/pet]. SoS is a P/S pet comming with: 1319 health 338 power 257 speed Its almost P/P, but having some very weird baseline stats. Especially the 257 speed is going to hurt, as that me...

Re: Draenor Pet Brawler
Yesterday Hooter noticed this and said so in the "Speedy 500 wins for Draenic Pet Battles"-thread. So I also checked this out. Apparently your Garrison does not count as Draenor for the Monument Achivement. This also applies to PvP battles you initiate while in the Garrison so beware. So if you plan...

Pet Charms
So Pet Charms is our new currency. Since I got lots of stacks of treats(from celestial tournament and still lots of tokens to buy more with), bandages(from leveling up all pets to 25 from pandaria trainers) and battle-stones(except I have now run out of flying stones due to the number of new flying ...

Molten Corgi - Puppies of the Flame
So I faced this pet today and it used Puppies of the Flame. Thinking it was like Raggys Sons of the Flame/Turnip Sons of the Root, where it could be attacked by burrow I switched in a Bunny. Now for Raggy/Turnip the burrowing pet still takes damage from the Sons and the Burrowing pet can hit Raggy/T...

Re: Random observations
I wonder if stats preferences have changed with the no-miss patch. I have been facing a lot of speedier pets than I usually run into. Also wonder if H-breed pets will become more popular since low hits will make you last even longer.

Re: Sporeling Sprout PvP breeds, I need more info.
I used to have pretty good success with S/S Sporeling Sprout, Infected Squirrel and S/S Nether Faire Dragon. But that was quite some time ago. I mainly liked the S/S because of making sure to get crouch up for 4 turns. But I guess now it will hit even weaker with 260 power Jab hitting low. Before pa...

Re: request team counter
The S/S Bronze Whelpling you used seems to be a pretty good counter too, at least against a slicing wind blighthawk and against the jademist dancer. Only Stormwing seems a bit out of place. So perhaps just switch that out for something else.

Re: request team counter
Ah that team... Well here is a couple of things I like to use. S/S Sky-Bo, as you already tried. Decoy will block Cyclone or Thunderbolt AoE. Of course your oppoent will get wise to it, so after a few fights when they have learned their leasson it will become a mindgame when to use Decoy. Also helps...

Re: Grommloc - thoughts
I have been facing this guy a few times now. The heal is quite powerful and he is not really that squishy. In one battle it also surprised me by almost nuking my critter with strong attacks. I think the most inventive way I have seen it used is with partner with Anicent Blessing, together with the s...

Re: Critical hit chance
5% I believe is the base crit chance. Personally I have not run into many teams, other than the regular Jademist dancers, that try to utilize crit buffs. But I have actually faced a couple of opponents that actually used Hawk Eye for example, and it does hurt quite a lot. Myself, I initially played ...

Re: Random observations
I have been running Sky-Bo as well, and have run into a different problem. Faced Mr Bigglesworth several times, and if I use decoy on the same round that he uses his wall, his attacks eliminate my decoys, but do not count as attacks against the wall. Maybe its just me, but I'm thinking both of our ...

Re: Random observations
Would this be a good time to mention that Unholy Ascension is still broken too? You still get a resurrection round if you use it on the turn your pet dies... I have also noticed this. And yesterday while facing a Lich that I killed with a Sticky Grenade got two undead turns, like the sticky grenade...

Re: Random observations
I was never in the "remove misses" corner, but after patch I actually feel that crits are having a slightly too big of impact to the game. If you chose 80% hit move it was still a calculated risk to miss. Crits are just pure luck if you don't buff your crit chance. Especially now that crits also alw...

Re: Random observations
Here is an idea. Since misses are removed except when affected by abilities, well certain direhorn abilities and 50% hit abilities as exception, how about removing Crits as well? It would make +crit abilities a bit more worthwile.

Re: Random observations
While I do face a bit more variety many I face are still on about DAH/Valk/Idol and especially MPD/Fossilized Hatchling. Still it's a lot better than before patch. Yes, more pets seem to be viable. I wonder if it is mainly due to the low hit damage range on the old power-hit moves, being like 45-50%...

Re: Synergic Team
There are still some old synergies that still work today. For example: Use a Nexus Whelpling, or other pet with Arcane Storm. Then you can either switch or when the Whelpling dies move into a Blighthawk and use the powerfu Ghoslty Bite without any risk of getting stunned yourself. I have faced oppon...

Re: Grommloc - thoughts
Yes, it's a thin line to walk on. Though Murkalot is still broken(too good) even with the nerf it got. It is not fun if it swings to far the other way and make the pets never used at all.
Still I'm pretty happy the avoided the Supercharge + Whirlwind set it had at the time I first saw it.
