Re: Newcomer to the PvP Pet Battle World(and in general too
Hi and welcome, I'd suggest building a solid group of about 4-5 teams to start off with so you can familiarise yourself with how the matches work and how opponents will play. You will loose a fair bit at first as usually you will be playing more experienced battlers but just stick at it and learn fr...

Re: PvP rewards
Perhaps it's time for a new pet PVP weekly quest? We have new weeklies: WC and DM and in 7.3 the new trainer. They are pve content. There hasn't been any new rewards for pvp since probably the critter event becoming a thing. You can argue the falc pets have a little pvp content and have a reward bu...

Re: Haunt - Bugged?
The bug for a haunt user to not respawn is caused by a second or third hit of a multi attack killing a pet whilst the haunt dot is up. I.e. Flurry hits a second time and kills the mob.
That's the definite way it bugs I have heard cyclone causing this but never experienced it so can't be sure

Dibbler in 7.3
Anyone else think this pet could be pretty strong? http://ptr.wowhead.com/npc=117340/dibbler
Probably run wind up, prio move then clamp/explode.

Re: No wonder nobody pvps
You really don't face that many super op teams in the queues it's really exaggerated by everyone including myself. Yea it's annoying but soo easily countered more often than not and they are very easy to out play 99% of the time. You also have to remember the reality is these players can't beat you ...

Re: No wonder nobody pvps
Case in point. I just went into the queue and I'm 2 out of 10! My opposition included: 3 Bone Serpents (twice), a full-fledged Sunny Day team, Graves, Bone Serpent, MPD followed by Graves, Bone Serpent, Weeb (at this point I was getting flashbacks to WoD) followed by, of all things, a guy running 3...

Re: No wonder nobody pvps
You do have a point in that due to the number of people just countering each other with progressively stronger pets it's just results in everyone just using their best pets. I would like to see weekly bonus pets that give some benefit to winning 5 times with them in the teams. These would probably j...

Re: PvP rewards
0.05% at each possible pet available would take 26 years to get one? Wow maybe a currency would be better but it would need to continue to hold its value. Probably have every pet drop purchasable at a very high price.

Re: No wonder nobody pvps
Or maybe you can only use a certain pet a set number of times a week. Say you can only use poor old teroclaw 3 times a week it might stop the most toxic teams

Re: Anti undead strategy?
To counter haunt specifically the wicked soul you can use: Faster pets with dodge, faster pets with blinds, most aquatics, faster pets with critter damage, faster pets with dots, minefields, to lesser extent ethereal/deflection/feign death and shields/damage reduction If you want a specific pet I'd ...

Re: No wonder nobody pvps
So if the opponent insta flees then you don't get achievement credit? You still get quest credit obviously though.

Re: PvP rewards
Maybe the bags should have a sliding reward system so if you get say 30-40 wins you get considerably more than just the person who does 10 wins. The bags could have a shot at the pets that are found on the BMAH or in its containers obviously a low chance that increased a very small amount depending ...

Re: Best Legion pets?
Hi Danzibr, It's worth noting that with most of the guides they try to use pets that are already required in other battles. This means that a lot of strategies will use older pets as they are the historical 'guide pets'. Some pets that have been added since legion that might be useful for you collec...

Re: How to get started in PvP
There's a couple ways you can approach battle pet pvp. One method is using the strongest pets all together on a team stuff like double bone serpents with vengeful porcupette, double magma rageling with bone serpent or triple teroclaw. It's not really very imaginative to play these but pretty easy to...
