ever find that one team...?
Have you ever built that one team that just seems to win... A LOT? That one team that is strong against a wide range of pet types, and actually counters all of its own counters?

Re: LF help to defeat specific Sethe team
I've seen this team quite a few times. An SS Ore Eater of your own, plus a Ghastly Kid pretty much neuters this team. Third pet is just a sweeper, in case he still has a little left at the end

Re: LF Team to defeat double Mechanical Pandaran Dragonling
Macabre Marionette could also help here. Bone Barrage wipes out the decoys and tacks on a little damage to boot. He's also strong against the Imp.

Re: Favorite WoD Pet
Got a new pet two days ago, and it definitely deserves a mention here!! The H/H Bone Serpent is an absolute beast in PvP. 1600+ health, 309 power, and he's carrying a barrage and two nukes (including a weather change). Decoy, bubble, and single hit evasion abilities are ineffective against him, and ...

Re: Favorite WoD Pet
I also pair my Ore Eater with the Ghastly Kid. Third pet varies depending on what I'm seeing a lot of. Ghastly Kid deserves an honorable mention in this category. He's not the overwhelming superstar like the ore eater or whelp, but he's a great auxiliary to a whole lot of teams

Re: Favorite WoD Pet
Ore Eater. Hands down. 341 speed. Reduces over 200 damage per attack. Has a dot and humanoid racial, so he heals in the back row. Can go toe to toe with most anything, and absolutely destroys elementals and dragons

Re: Shout out to Blizz
Melfice, the Crystal Spider can be very good in PvP. Very tanky. Its fast, has a stun, nice heal, and causes the opponent to damage themselves every time they attack

Re: Shout out to Blizz
I've come up with several counters to the undead AOE teams. The most successful is a frog/squirrel team. They destroy pretty much any undead team

Re: Shout out to Blizz
Actually, the only real offender I see is the Weebom. A massive heal, scaling AOE, and two bonus rounds from undead racial makes him really OP. I regularly see a triple Weebom team, although he sometimes swaps one of them for a scourged whelpling. Three undead, all using AOE, makes a really tough te...

Shout out to Blizz
I honestly think they've done a really good job on pets in Draenor. They've given us a lot of really nice looking pets, while also creating more parity in PvP. I see a lot of different (and extremely clever) team comps. They've also given us more usable pets in families that previously only had one ...

if you have a Darkmoon Cub, thats the way to go, since you can use it to level your other pets quickly around Halfhill Market. If not, MPD is the way to go. great all around pet

Re: Photosynthesis + heal comps. How to counter?
Darkness is a great option here, but probably not the standard crow team though. Heal teams are usually elemental, and nocturnal strike is only 40% to hit them with darkness active.

I think Hootstwo nailed it on the head. Its like opening a lock. Once you've got the key, its not difficult anymore. I do however, like the idea of varied levels of pet battles, from newbie level to mythic

Re: The future and direction of pet battling in WOW
Personally, I think the level 25 stone is one of the best plans that blizz has come up with to make it easier to break into pet battles. By far, the most daunting task for me was getting my first level 25. Once they have one, the whole pet game becomes much easier. I've been helping several friends ...

Thanks for a lot of great fights tonight. Most fun I've had in quite awhile. You're an A+ battler, and I had a blast facing you. Not sure the count, but pretty sure we swapped wins almost every fight after seeing each other's new strategy and adjusting our own pets or strategies to compensate. Great...

Re: Question about what pet you use the ultimate battle ston
I used the Ultimate Battle-Training Stone in a [pet]Lil' Ragnaros[/pet] that I had at level 3 No offense, but Lil Rags is not good advice for someone asking about their first level 25. He is a hard hitter and a great pet for PvP, but in wild battles he is very weak, since the majority of wild pets ...

Re: Question about what pet you use the ultimate battle ston
For someone looking for their very first level 25 pet, I think this has a very simple answer. The Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling. They're very cheap to get. Their speed makes them faster than pretty much any wild pets you may face. They have the bonus of mechanical racial for close fights. They have...

Re: The future and direction of pet battling in WOW
I think I've had a good idea. Replace the existing quest with a choice of an Easy, Normal, Heroic, Mythic quest. Using a sub-25 pet automatically puts you at Normal and provides some decent XP. Heck maybe you can even endlessly repeat the battle for good XP upon completing Heroic and/or Mythic. Bes...

Re: Pet observations 6.1
I've found the Hyjal Wisp to be pretty effective as well. 325 speed, along with evasion and wish makes it an effective pet in a lot of teams
