Re: Catch that pet
My [pet]Lucky Quilen Cub[/pet] can stop giving me those puppy-dog eyes, he's lvl 25 now. Hermy, a Triassic Triple Challenge for you, should you accept it: level your [pet]Pterrordax Hatchling[/pet], [pet]Direhorn Runt[/pet] aaand a raptor hatchling of your choice because there's honestly too many of...

Re: Catch that pet
Well, it took me about as long as actually planting and growing two small trees, but both [pet]Withers[/pet] and [pet]Teldrassil Sproutling[/pet] are 25 now. Hunting, I'm already pretty jealous that you, unlike ME, actually put a bit of effort into getting the [pet]Spirit of Competition[/pet] all th...

Re: What was your first Level 25 pet?
I'm pretty sure my first one was a turtle, but I'm not sure which one? Also might have been the [pet]Wolpertinger[/pet] (I remember lvling him early on and being surprised at how useful he was despite being a critter and therefore weak against roughly half the pets I'd encounter) OR the [pet]Fluxfir...

[profile]Furkel[/profile], I have no poetic talents, but I can tell when a creature earn for something, and I can see poor Pollux earning to be on same level as his less tainted sibling! [pet]Tainted Waveling[/pet] needs to be reunited with Castor (Why is your Water Waveling not named Castor? :) ) ...

Re: Catch that pet
My [pet]Warbot[/pet] isn't held back by having been hastily cobbled together as part of a promotional campaign for an energy drink (NEVER FORGET): he's now lvl 25. Merilwen, I wrote you a poem: Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious pet I'd caugh...

Well, I knew that blood elf hunter I boosted to 90 then instantly gave up on forever would be good for something: my horde [pet]Moonkin Hatchling[/pet] is now lvl 25!
Zenon, you should take your [pet]Dragon Kite[/pet] for a few totally casual battles, you know... no strings attached.

Re: Catch that pet
I've been away from this post for a while (again), but let's just say I've leveled whatever I was supposed to (I'm like 80% sure I did)!
Kuro: like sand through the hourglass, so are the [pet]Living Sandling[/pet]s of our lives... and if that reference even makes sense to you I'm impressed.

Xcal, I'm sorry to assign you another moth but just look into your [pet]Imperial Moth[/pet]'s giant freaky eyes and try telling it it has to stay unleveled any longer.

Re: So what are your pet dreams made of ?
I say you're not dreaming big ENOUGH: I want all three original CE pets, every baby murloc, and also a time machine so I can go back and put some actual effort into getting the Spirit of Competition. As for mounts: another time machine scenario, because I'd like the old ZG tiger. ...though if we're ...

I'll be totally honest, part of me wants to offer up encouraging words and tell you to keep at it, it'll drop eventually, you've just gotta BELIEVE and whatnot... and then there's the other part, wanting to scream something barely coherent about how you dare to complain about "hours" when it took me...

Principa, you should level your [pet]Spirit Crab[/pet] because... well, it's a ghost crab and if you need any more reasons I just don't know what your deal is.

I'm just going to list all my favorite animals, then:
Anteater, Chameleon, Kakapo, Platypus (!!!), Axolotl, Aardvark, Flamingo, Hedgehog (porcupines don't count), Tapir, Sloth... I could go on and on, basically.

Re: favorite non-highly sought after pets to have out?
I usually just spam my random pet macro until I get one that seems fun at the moment (and, sometimes more importantly, matches my current transmog set), but I've got a few favorites: The [pet]Giraffe Calf[/pet] is always fun, because with a biscuit he's probably three times the height of my gnome ma...

Hermy, put on a pair of heavy-duty rubber gloves and maybe a hazmat suit, because you can't be too careful when playing with your [pet]Filthling[/pet].

Re: Winter's Veil Helpers
I'd assume they will be upgraded, although you never know - the Pandaren Monk pet wasn't upgraded when the Pandarens became a playable race (I believe it's actually a modified tuskarr model?). Also, it might be fun to leave them as they are, as a memory of what gnomes used to look like?
