Re: Stuns and undead
That stun is just bad RNG...nothing you can do about it, sadly. Gah! Really? It's been so bad this week, especially against Fesael. I restarted match against Fesael to see if it was a particular spell or something and it didn't seem to matter. It took me three or four tries to get through that dail...

Stuns and undead
I've never really noticed this until two or so weeks ago, but it seems like whenever an undead pet dies in a battle and it's possible for it to be stunned (one of those 25% chance of stuns), my pet will be stunned when it comes back and is thus completely useless. It won't cast the spell/attack it w...

Re: celestial tournament and hard-to-get pets
can anyone do the entire tourny with as few hard-to-get pets? Oh, certainly. My first time through I didn't have most of the harder to get pets (like Son of Animus.) If you could get only one harder to get pet then I'd say go with Son of Animus (because he's a godly mechanical) but I've gotten the ...

Re: Jeremy Feasel (Darkmoon Pet Battle)
I use unborn, phoenix chick, and clockwork gnome. I use Unborn's 4 round attack and use attacks until it's dead (usually I get that a second 4 round attack on the next pet) then I cast UA when it coems back. Phoenix with the 9 round buff, then the burn and regular attacks until it dies. Then gnome w...

Re: Spirit Tamer Leveling *Recon*
Conclusion: If you're doing the Spirit Tamer quest, grind on it. I got about 8 of my pets leveled up (this was before I was in possession of my new stylish Safari Hat) which really helped me get the Singing Cricket. Take a bunch of bandages, and stand there until you've left a groove in that spot. ...

Chichi is so much easier. XDSpary wrote:Flayer (ss), Qiraj Guardling (ss) or Hopling all work very well against him, in fact: everything that is faster then him and has at least 1 defensive skill can really hurt him - so yes he is (by far) the easiest celestial.

Re: Third pet against Yu'la?
With how patetically easy Yu'la is, you should easilly be able to use them to level a pet on! Yeah, I was wondering if that work too. I did try boosting on when doing Lil' Oon with the two pet strat but he hits way too hard so that kind of made me wonder if it would be possible in the tourney. i kn...

Re: Third pet against Yu'la?
I read on wowhead where someone posted that gregarious grell was a great pet to use. I tried it and almost soloed Yu'la with him using punch, phase, cauterize. Just used punch , phase when she used lift off, cauterize when at 50% and kept it up till he died and my Panderen Monk one shot her for the...

Re: Third pet against Yu'la?
i found yu'la to be the easiest. i use anub, kunlai runt, pandaren monk. i really just use anub for a little damage done, he usually does about 30%. then the runt will take yu'la to about 30-15% by itself. i use the p/p breed, auto stun/take down. then pandaren monk is faster than yu'la and takes h...

Third pet against Yu'la?
I beat the tourney and got my Xu-fu (I'm a true crazy cat lady now! =D! Yay!) I had a bit of a problem against Yu'la, though. The guides I tried weren't really helpful and I sort of stumbled my way through this. I found [pet]Mei Li Sparkler[/pet] to be strong against Yu'la, by virtue of [ability]Glo...

Re: Unborn Val - is this a glitch?
Interesting. Have you tried getting her killed more times to be sure it wasn't just a one time bug? Sorry it took a bit to reply. I wrote the topic before I went to bed but I've been testing it on the dailies I'm doing right now and it seems to work. It does actually work. At least, it works on eve...

Unborn Val - is this a glitch?
Okay. So, I understand with 5.4 that the unborn Val cannot come back after you sacrifice her life for the dmg buff, and this has been my experience except for ... I was doing the fable dailies and was on Kafi or Kafu (whatever), the goat one, and I was just beating it down before I killed Val. I tho...

Re: Celestial Tournament - Reckon I'm prepared?
I know we can't heal or revive our pets, or use two of the same kind in one battle, but can we have doubles of the stronger variety leveled to 25? I mean, in case you fail and kill the first one in an attempt, can you use another level 25 of that same pet? Also, if you fail or are DC'ed or have to g...

Re: Changes to Pandaren daily battles in 5.4
The 5.2 version of the Elite pet nuke team (x-2-2 Unborn Val'kyr, x-2-2 Pandaren Water Spirit, and x-1-2 Chrominius) is greatly diminished in power since the Unborn Val'kyr's Haunt no longer triggers the auto-resurrection of Undead pets. I haven't had any problem keeping this line up. Chrom's 3rd a...

Re: Dusty (whispering pandaren spirit battle)
I'm not sure what is going on. =/ They changed/nerfed/powered up various pet abilities for this last patch, including the trainers pets. Val doesn't come back after sacrificing her life anymore, Siren's attack is wicked strong (not a real problem if you have a block and time it right, since that's ...

I'm pretty sure you only beat it twice in that case. His moves are not always in the same order, and if he decides to tail slap you twice you are done. I'm not saying it's not a good pet, but so is Yellow Moth or any other flying pet. It all depends on what moves No-No decides to use. Erm. Nope. I'...

Re: Guide to tamer daily pet battles (5.3) - For veterans
I just found this guide and haven't read all the posts so forgive me if I'm just repeating old stuff, but I thought I'd add a little tip on No-No since a friend of mine was having a lot of trouble. I've found a rare Mei Lei Sparkler is the most OP pet for No-No. Just use Slicing, Cocoon, and Glowing...
