Re: Family Familiar.. Aulier/Varenne/Flummox?
Flummox has only even been up once, and it didn't give credit towards Family Familiar . There's nothing guaranteeing that this bug will have been fixed when he comes back (if ever). But you're right in Varenne and Aulier having been missing for a long time as well, although I'll add that they don't ...

Re: Pet of the Month - Lil' Leftovers
Let's not forget that [ability]High Fiber[/ability] removes status effects from the whole team , not just [pet]Lil' Leftovers[/pet] (or [pet]Pierre[/pet] for that matter!) This makes it a valuable counter to [ability]Haunt[/ability] teams (as that kills the enemy pet immediately), and also offers an...

Re: Brittle Webbing Counter
Generally speaking, you can just go with [ability]Stoneskin[/ability], [ability]Shell Armor[/ability], or such flat-value blocks to negate the damage. You can also safely use defensive moves, non-damaging status attacks (like [ability]Stone Prison[/ability]) and delayed damage sources (like [ability...

Re: Family Familiar COMPLETE!!
Grats! I'm only missing Roboteer and Lil'Necromancer over here, could have done the no-WQ thing but also wanted to progress my alt  Still doubled progress speed, in any case! This is a matter of patience if nothing else, but I admit that without the help of alts this may well take the entire e...

Re: Diablo Trilogy Complete edition?
Well, no news yet, but there's a big Diablo-related announcement slated for BlizzCon... so maybe it could be another expansion, and end up bringing a "complete edition". We'll have to wait and see!

Re: The new clone abilities
So wait, they can take our $40 and then just remove and change abilities? Why are they so arrogant? We spent money on this. It currently isn't changed, but if they change I'm getting a refund. I only bought the Blizzcon ticket for the pets. So, you bought your Blizzcon ticket because of the pets , ...

Re: The new clone abilities
Tbh I hope it's not the end for the clones, as it was an interesting new mechanic... but the testing seems to have been poor or non-existant. Besides, Bloodgazer Hatchling and Blood Boil were mostly fine - it was the Murkys that broke it and raised all red signs. Not just because of insane ability c...

Re: Raiding With Leashes IV breeds
Good analysis. I bought a Blood Boil on the AH because I figured I'd never get the breed I want. I chose P/S, since for me that's the default best breed. Should I buy the H/H and sell mine? There's an H/H for 7000g, but lots of other breeds for 2000g. To be fair, I see it as a gimmicky pet, but not...

Re: Raiding With Leashes IV breeds
My experiences with [pet]Blood Boil[/pet] and [ability]Split[/ability] lean towards H/H breed, or maybe even S/S - but definitely not a Power breed . When [ability]Split[/ability] says it costs half your HP, it means half of your total Health, not your current value. This certainly means that it's m...

Re: Northern Hawk Owl
It's a mix of factors. For a Hawk Owl (or any other Battle Pet) to spawn, it needs: 1) That its spawn location isn't occupied by a critter version. 2) That there aren't excessive battle pets around already. I ran into the same issue this morning, with no "battle pet" Northern Hawl Owls to be found; ...

Re: Advice Requested: First 25 boost; who should I use it on
All in all, by the time you have 500 or 600 pets, I'm not sure it will matter which one, but yeah ... Anubisath was valuable, HOWEVER, when you get him, he is not level 1, so if this is a PURPLE stone, that means you can level something from 1 to 25 (you get that when you first get the Menagerie se...

Re: Mechanics & Formulas
Now I guess that almost all abilities which can inflict more damage according to condition (eg hits last or hits fist) just undergo one whole check of mechanics (if first hit hits then second one hits). But this is not the case for other attacks like quills which have different rolls? Aaah, these a...

Re: Advice Requested: First 25 boost; who should I use it on
Thanks for all the advice! I boosted my Anub last night! I'm debating if I want to level up my Molten Corgi first to help capture pets, or if I should power level a power leveler. Been flying around to get some more Halloween candy to get the Feline Familiar (I'm surprised i don't have this one alr...

Some more random bits, for thought if nothing else! Flame Jet: As Paladance points out above, this ability precisely has an exceptional behavior, and is coded as two separate attacks - Flame Jet "damage" on the active pet , and Flame Jet "ignite" on your team at a 50% hit (which cannot be modified b...

Just did it in EU, got bandages just fine. Wowhead also lists US as granting bandages, which are easy to miss for most battlers, I guess.

Re: Where to park alts
If it's just for a daily routine (for charms, character and pet XP) then definitely park near any of the other Draenor tamers. Plus a LV3 Garrison menagerie of course. Also, if your characters have flight unlocked, you can even set your Hearthstone near a tamer to swiftly move from/to Garrison, to c...

Re: Breeds for Legion Pets
For [pet]Felspider[/pet] I'd aim for P/S. The S/S offers insane speed (341) but there's nothing in its skillset that benefits from being so fast - so rather reallocate those points into Power. 305 Speed is still a reasonable value, and with 305 Power you can get slightly better healing from [ability...

Re: Waiting for all the Broken Isle meta quests is brutal!!!
I think max you'll need is honored. But I think you need to do the story line associated with Varenne so the vineyard area. Haven't seen Aulier yet, but wowhead comments are what I was basing it off of. And Flummox was stated previously here. Indeed, they are locked behind quest chains - which in t...

Re: Breeds for Legion Pets
Any other experts care to comment on what are the best breeds for the legion pets? I am trying to get the optimal breeds now since i gotten all of the wild pets. Is P/P best for Dream Whelpling? I'd say so, yes. P/S isn't really fast (273) and the P/B only has marginally higher HP at a hefty Power ...
