Re: Val'kyr/Death Adder Hatchling/X
Sear Magic is really good against Valk/DAH. Or you can just use a crab, but then you lose to darkness teams. For Sear Magic pets, I like Magic Lamp in particular. The big heal is nice against Valk/DAH because it allows you to play the outlast game, and the pet also counters all the fliers in the met...

Re: PVP teams
Same team with minor swaps. On the team I use for almost all PvP games, two of the pets are always the same and the third slot varies between three other pets depending on what I'm tending to queue in to at a given time. I also have a second team that I use very occasionally for if someone puts toge...

Re: PVP battles
Me too. At the beginning PvP battles really felt like pulling teeth. Once I had a few team comps that I felt comfortable queuing with, the games started to go a lot faster.Se5s wrote:it took me until 500-ish wins to start to feel like i was getting good.

Re: If there were no pet PvP...
Outside of raiding and arena, which are obviously scheduled activities, pet PvP is the main reason I log in now. So I guess I'd be playing a lot more Civ 5 or Hearthstone. I do not think farming the pet PvE trainers would keep me occupied for long.

Re: PvP teams
Anubisath Idol/Magical Crawdad/Xu-Fu would probably mess a lot of teams up, if you want to level the latter. However, six games against mostly the same opponent may not be enough to see how a team works. So maybe give the CloneDance team a few more tries? That team might be better with a stronger co...

This is a known issue, and it's pretty obviously a bug. Using a pet with sleeping gas or frog kiss isn't any different than spamming demolish used to be before they fixed that.

Re: Help - Suggestions on PvP team
You are missing the point, actually sandstorm is the perfect synergy for a valk team. They key of the valk team is haunt, and what is the biggest enemy of a valk? Aqua pet, because haunt is a dot and its also weak against aqua pet. If your opponent will have a crawdad (using shield), your valk will...

Re: Help - Suggestions on PvP team
Tl;DR Plz help, need suggest for Valk team alternative lolkty! First of all, a H/H valk is not as good as a B/B valk, especially when your valk is going to fight against the other valk, so I will suggest you get a B/B valk first. Then as someone mentioned, a 341 speed DAH is a very good pet to team...

Re: Help figuring out a team
As you already have a Magical Crawdad, pick up an Anubisath Idol. The two pair extremely well in both PvE and PvP. The third pet can vary, too. I like to use the green world drop whelp, Emerald Whelpling, with mine, although pets with high speed and/or evasion are also good additions to this otherwi...

Re: Help choosing a flier
If you want one with a heal, Chi-Chi and Flamering Moth (H/S or P/S) are both OK choices. Otherwise go with one of the ones already mentioned; Crow and Gilnean Raven are both very strong, popular choices.

Re: The most powerful PVP team : 244 Valk/341 Snake/325 Qira
S/S Qiraji Guardling doesn't combine well with DoT pets, which Unborn Val'kyr and Death Adder Hatchling both are. You either have to be super careful about using Sandstorm, or you have to use the inferior Hawk Eye. Peddlefeet provides the same stun effect, so you might want to use that one instead.

Re: Other side of the Valk/Murk coin
Another facet of this issue is the "counter" argument in that I get to feeling the need to have a hard-counter for all of the Valk teams out there actually locks me in as well. Unless I haven't seen a Valk team in a while, my most common teams always run with at least one (and sometimes two) Valk c...

P/P Emperor Crab with Snap, Healing Wave, and Shell Shield should be able to solo that entire team.

Re: No Time To Heal
Has anyone succeeded in the level 25 bracket getting this? Yup, I got it in the level 25 bracket with a sandstorm/healing team. S/S Quiraji Guardling (1,2,2), P/P Emperor Crab (1,2,1), and H/S Restless Shadeling (2,1,2). I wasn't really trying for it, just got enough decent matchups in a row. Unfor...

Re: Your favourite PVP teams
I use the Val'kyr along with Spawn of G'nathus and the Guardian Cub (see post above). The Val'kyr is a solid pet, but I agree that it's not really creative. The problem is to find a good and strong undead pet that can replace it and still do well in pvp. So far I have been thinking about the Lost o...

Fast Sandstorm:
-S/S Quiraji Guardling (1,2,2)
-P/P Emperor Crab (1,2,1)
-H/S Restless Shadeling (2,1,2)
Seems to lose darkness teams and teams with multiple hard hitting mechanicals, and beat everything else. Which works for me!

Not sure I'd use Anubisath Idol and Unborn Val'kyr together. Sandstorm and Haunt don't combine well.

Most people is incapable of dealing with just an iota of challenge, hence why LFR was invented. We dont need it for pet battles too. Elitist much? LFR is a time saver. I work a lot and don't have any friends that play WoW, my guild has 3 people in it, nor do I sit at home on my computer 24/7 to lev...
