Re: Experimental, High Risk, High Reward

So I have tried some PvP with Mr. Wiggles, Yellow Moth and Anubisath Idol (Demolish/Reflection/Rupture) and I seem to have following issues: - 5th Moth Ball from the barrage seem to always miss :( - Opposing team that has an ability that swaps your pets is not nice - any Darkness team reduces chance...

Re: Anti-Snowman/Runt/Bear team?

I believe you would do quite well with Grassland Cottontail S/S - it is pretty fast (325), Burrow hits for 455, Flurry hits for 280 or 420. Being that fast, Dodge actually provides you up to 2 rounds of dodge and you get another one from Burrow. You can couple it with a Shimmershell Snail H/H or H/P...

Re: Best of Each Type

I have seen the yellow moth mentioned before on other posts. Why the yellow moth as opposed to any of the others? AS others mentioned, Yellow Moth is the hardest hitting moth. Combined with his racial and slow debuff on Moth Balls, he doesnt need much speed to go first. Combine Yellow Moth with Mr....

Re: 5.2 Fluxfire -- a new AoE team?

Might end up being more situational, though I've been hearing enchanted broom come up & mr. Wiggles/robo bear combo. Well, Mr.Wiggles with Yellow Moth (P/P) hits harder. Also Yellow Moth dmg is distributed into more hits so one miss/dodge doesnt hurt that much. Also Moth can use cocoon strike to ad...

Re: Learn to PVP to improve your strategy

p/s Giant Bone Spider. This guy is so much fun. Siphon Life + his second dot then force swap the opposing pet. Rinse and repeat for as long as your opponent will allow it. With luck you'll have 3 siphon lifes healing a tonne of damage. This is usually the pet I open with. Never knew about Giant Bon...

Re: Learn to PVP to improve your strategy

Before I came up with following line-up, I had 35 victories in PvP. Now I have 81 (well, I only started with pet battles in January...) and that team had 3 losses which I will describe later. [pet]Lil' Ragnaros[/pet] 1/2/1 - Flamethrower (395) then double Conflagrate (987) with Flamethrower Dot (99)...

Re: Experimental, High Risk, High Reward

I have edited numbers for Yellow moth seeing as Moth Balls have 100% hit chance and not only 75%, and also I obviously meant P/P breed, here is no S/S breed for this pet. He seems to be a beast. Each of the moth balls hits for 181 with almost *certain* one crit, that is 996 (!!!) damage. Then it obv...

Re: Name your Top Ten favorite battle pets, in order

Team that loses approximately 1 fight in 20 (PvP): Fluxfire Feline (S/S) Lil Ragnaros Anubisath Idol other favourites: Scourged Whelpling (H/H): who cares that you are slow when you have a Tail Sweep hitting for 357 and your racial gives you two hits after being killed? :) Rapana Whelk : for destroy...

Re: Experimental, High Risk, High Reward

Why not try Anodized Robo Cub breed 7 (H/P)? It has Supercharge that will buff next attack by 125% in 5.2, and it has Demolish which will hit for 1390 Supercharged and 618 for second time. 1998 dmg in total. Or [pet]Lil' Deathwing[/pet] (if you have an access to it): Roll hits for 189, Cataclysm hit...

Breanni, please sticky this. This is exactly the type of information that many battlers are looking for.
Great job, Poofah.

Re: 5.2 Fluxfire -- a new AoE team?

No, conflag can't kill him that fast. Fluxfire needs 2 turns for Prowl+Flux, and even though he probably has to go 2nd that turn due to Prowl, there isn't a conflag pet that can kill him with 2 moves. Silver Dragohhawk needs 3 turns; Lil' Ragnaros needs 3 turns. Also, Conflagrate damage is getting ...

Re: Best of Each Type

Also if you want a critter, consider Rapana Whelk. It is THE pet for Pandaria Spirits. It has strong Aquatic attack combined with 1 round dodge, it has a self heal that can be buffed and it takes lower damage from elementals.

Re: 5.2 Fluxfire -- a new AoE team?

I guess not only Sandstorm will ruin this strategy. It is even weaker against any Conflagrate / Winter teams - and there are LOTS of them. Conflagrate teams can kill your Fluxies (breed 8) before they deal ANY damage at all. Basically, I wouldnt mind using Flux team in PvE, but in PvP it has very la...
