Re: Items From Pet Battles

I think it may be a combination of more queues in a weaker meta providing more wins in the same timeframe than before the patch that is leading to people receiving more rewards. So as an example you might have only got 10 games in an hour before the patch and then only won 5 opposed to now having 30...

Re: Undead racial

I don't think it's that overpowered though. How does the extra damage they are able to do compare to a beast that is able to live a couple rounds with its racial? Against an Elemental with Sandstorm or Darkness up all match? Against a flier that uses moves that hit extra times if it goes first? Und...

This is redundant as one is the direct cause of the other.
Not really, if you counter someone running a mechanical team they are likely to instantly forfeit. No RNG there just their team is incredibly unbalanced.

Family Brawler: Thoughts and impact on the meta

So now that Family Brawler has been out just over a week I was wondering how people think it’s going? I’ll write the pros and cons I feel have come out of it below. Pros: - Increase in people queuing for PVP (albeit temporarily) - Wide range of pets appearing in the queue - Something for people to w...

Re: Family Brawler Achievement - Pet and Team Guide

You’re magic team would probably be better utilised using the weather effect on the torch to increase the efficiency of the Wisp’s Wish. S/S Slivershock Elvers played in a similar way to rabbits are a great way to go for Aquatics. Probably pair a couple up with a cleansing rain user for a beneficial...

Re: Server First - Family Brawler

If you’re doing this even against one other person trying for it there’s a big element of Rock Paper Scissors on match ups unfortunately. It’s actually a little more frustrating than I predicted as you can queue up into instant flees.

Makes the “accomplishment” far too easy IMO.
At least during pet week it lessens the large amount of rng in grinding the wins.

Family Brawler Achievement - Pet and Team Guide

As it’s widely expected that 7.3.5 will be going live next reset I’ve done a brief guide for each family type and possible teams to use. Hopefully it will be useful to some of you going for the tabard and achievement. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZCp2L0hW0Uhgdye2x-NlV-QSiHTHZ5xy Thanks all.

Re: Undead racial

They are some cool ideas for adjusting the racials Brawler. I don’t think a massive overhaul is needed just a few minor changes I think a couple could be different though: Humanoid: Agreed except healing effect reduce by half whilst on backline Dragonkin: I really like your idea but feel it might be...

Re: Undead racial

It’s a pretty overpowered racial, basically you or your opponent can sometimes get off two extra hits they wouldn’t usually albeit at 75%.

I kinda feel that a stat nerf would be better that the flat damage nerf as this would affect a wider range of abilities.

Undead racial

So as most people know the undead racial is by far the most overpowered of all the families. Immortal for 1 round whilst doing 75% damage. How could this be brought into line whilst still retaining its current design/flavour? It’s been mentioned by a few people would a 50% stat reduction be more app...

Re: Two things

I’m sure everyone has at one point either left a match at round one because they’ve had a bad rng match up. Or when they are loosing quit before the end to prevent just dragging out the game, I think this is the checkmate scenario people are referring to from chess. Only leaving at the start even ha...

Favourite fun teams

What’s up guys I thought it would be fun if everyone posted their fun teams that don’t use the OP pets that we always see in the meta. I know a lot of experienced battlers probably have loads of these teams as it’s alot more challenging than running Teroclaws non stop. It would be good to share thes...

Re: Best pets of 7.3

Yeah marmot is great, t1 imo. Once spinning gets on here he’ll hate on the marmot. I had to stop playing it as I was being copied by someone who used it on all their teams after a streak of losses vs me.
Do you run burrow? I find it’s the more offensive build than smoke bomb.

Re: Best pets of 7.3

Glenwood I was with you mate thinking Blazehound would be the go to. I also feel that traps have been changed they just seem to be running a longer duration much more now. Possibly rng but several people have mentioned it. I actually prefer the p/p hound now 305 is just average in the meta and you c...

Re: Best pets of 7.3

A few weird statements on here. The infernal pyreclaw wouldn’t work on a lightning team particularly well as it’s great sting is most effective against a whole team of pets which you impact putting call lighting up, you then lose out on the swap and as the pyraclaw is a beast pet you buff the strong...

Re: Two things

So point 1: basically the attack will still complete even if the pet that cast it dies to a thorns effect. I get it’s a bit dumb when it’s something like flurry but the game is just coded to always complete the attack. Point 2: lots of people are super cautious, some don’t know they would kill you a...
