Re: Pet XP Food Stacking Hotfixed?!

I've never been so happy to be so wrong. Thank goodness!

Re: Pet Battle Bonus Event - Alternative locations?

My personal favorite areas: - Frostfire Ridge (for level 89+; otherwise the enemies around will be problematic; low level Horde can stick close to the garrison and be fairly safe but Alliance don't have that buffer) - Shadowmoon Valley, the moonlit shore (best for Alliance since Hordewill be attacke...

Re: Pet XP Food Stacking Hotfixed?!

Also be careful not to use a sausage treat on a different pet after you used a hamburger, it will waste the sausage. The treats are 'per player' rather than 'per pet'. If anything, why you use them on the pet at all makes no sense, considering that it gives the *player* a buff that stays afte...

Re: Pet XP Food Stacking Hotfixed?!

I'm not going to lie: I used the stacking buff to get things up to level 25 to sell.... but not in the exploit way. Just 1 hat + 1 sausage + 1 burger + 1 pet weekend and/or Squirt. ;) What with how fast and easy tokens are to get nowadays, though, honestly leveled pets *are* mostly devalued. Conside...

Re: Pet XP Food Stacking Hotfixed?!

I wouldn't worry about the 'Super Squirt' day. It'll still only be two or three battles to fully level a pet.

Unless you mean whether Squirt's XP will be nerfed altogether?

Pet XP Food Stacking Hotfixed?!

Is it just me, or have they hotfixed the ability to use both pet foods as of... well.... today? Yesterday, hell *this morning*, I was happily using a sausage and a burger (5% and 10% food respectively) in pet grinding. A couple minutes ago, I tried to use them. I got told, "A more powerful ench...

Re: Gryphon/Wind Rider Plush now 75% off

For those on a European server: does the code work on the EU side? Does anyone know? I've been wanting to get my hands on these fellows for a long time, but since I play on EU servers, they have eluded me because of the way things work.:/ And considering that I have had people purchase me gift pets,...

Re: Club 5000

I knew it didn't count toward overall pet score, but I *did* worry that it counted toward the 'Club 5000'. :D

Back in the club: I just finished dinging my newest two to 25.

Re: The Squirky Mystery

So November is gone and passed, and no one found the fellow. Does this mean we have to wait for next year? Or does this mean that we just keep searching? I've gone over about everything I can; so far nothing has popped up. I've even browsed Wowhead for hints from the book, hoping that something migh...

Re: Club 5000

There's a club for this? God damn; I jump in and out of there a *lot*. I'm presently not in the club because I recently got a new one.... also because I have duplicates that I level for the AH.

.... do they count?

Re: The Squirky Mystery

Something to keep in mind is that GMs aren't all-knowing. They are tech support. When it comes to code, they may not have any more knowledge than we game-players have. As proven in the past by me having to go through *four* GMs after Cataclysm to explain to them that my dwarf still somehow had 'Trea...

Re: The Squirky Mystery

He stated that there won't be any mounts, battle pets, power rewards or achievements for participating in them. I wasn't aware of that. As such, knowing that, I'm *definitely* much more sure they're unrelated. Although it's still interesting. :D My best guess at the moment is that Squirky is either...

Re: The Squirky Mystery

Could the new holiday event coming in 7.1.5 March of the Tadpoles (New) - Today, the baby Winterfin murlocs of Borean Tundra complete their trip across the Westrift. be were he's from? And that's why his description of November was changed? Just a thought. It's *possible*. However, the 'Westrift' i...

Re: squirky battle pet

A quick internet search returned a promotional picture where a murloc that looks like Squirky can be seen with Malfurion in Teldrassil. Actually, I suspect this isn't Malfurion. Or rather, if it *is* Malfurion, he's going by a different name in the book: the character is named Thalyss Greyoak. He i...

Re: The Squirky Mystery

I don't have the book myself, so I did some online research. I found: But the journey is hindered by Greydon’s compass, which never points north. If the compass isn't leading Aram and Makasa home--to safety--to what destiny is it leading them? Curious, I checked out Wowhead for 'compass' that had be...

Re: New Acquisitions

Was going to suggest the same thing ... this zone is nasty if you are trying to farm pets and not high enough to handle the mobs. What's worse is that the Suramar-only mobs, AKA the spiders, are *all* in very dangerous areas. Even at level 110, it's not fun to run around. I was fortunate that my fi...

Merana wrote:And all the Eldritch Manafiends and Northern Hawk Owls I found were rare

I only have one of each, but both were rare right off the bat for me, too.

Possible this is related to the 'uncommon only' bug we had on several creatures in Pandaria and Cataclysm.

Re: New Acquisitions

And just last night, I simultaneously dinged level 107, and Broken Isles Safari , and obtained my Rescued Fawn . The Suramar pets are a pain in the *BUTT* to get when you're not level 110; I don't suggest trying it unless you've got a high-level friend, are chasing questers around, or are willing to...

Re: New Acquisitions

I've now got one of every wild pet other than Fedgling Kingfeather , Hog-Nosed Bat , Vicious Broodling , and Thornclaw Broodling . At level 106 (and most of it from battling pets and exploring) that's not a bad haul. Got quite a few of them as rare as well. I was lucky as hell: my very first Stormst...

Re: The Elusive Dust Bunny

When they spawn (from the rug), do they only become available for you? Or can other people see/battle them?

I know when you put down a Turtle Box, the four turtles it spawns are available for everybody.
