Re: Anyone know why So many names are "reserved"?

Agree. The naming restrictions feel arbitrary and a little hypocritical. This is a game that has an achievement called 'four play', and the major joke of the current expansion involves drunk monkeys swearing they're going to 'ook you in the dooker'... But I can't name a Crimson Shale Hatchling 'Hot ...

Re: Forfeiting at the start

& everybody's pet peeves are different.

I don't mind stall teams, but if I see a team that has 2 force-switchers, I often quit. Right now, I just don't have the strategy to work around the force-switches, especially the ones that plant bombs and switch.

Re: Raiding with Leashes II: worst drop rate ever?

When I get irritated/frustrated with the grind, I take a break. I don't let myself feel obligated to run the old raids every week. When I'm in a good mood, I find it fun and relaxing to run around in the dungeons & one-shot everything, so I wait for that mood. I've had decent luck with the Kara drop...

Re: Daily Pet Supply Bags

EDIT: One funny thing is thou, on the patch day (probably because its the first day of new lootsystem, so it has to reset internally), I got 5 stones, my guildmate got 6. Anyone experienced insane amount of stones on the patchday only? I got three stones on patch day. Since then, my stone drops do ...

Re: Razorgore

I always cleared starting from the platform with the orb and then in a zigzag moving toward the opposite end of the room. It worked but often took me 3-4 tries to get the timing right. I would do some AOE before re-clicking the orb to generate aggro, but I wonder if this was a bad idea. But, yes, BW...

Re: Seeker Zusshi

I tried out the snail & onyxian whelpling combo today, worked like a charm. I think the real problem is that I was burnt out. I've been doing the pet trainer quests every day for weeks & was really starting to get sick of it. So when my usual Zusshi strat didn't work, I felt frustrated instead of ex...

Re: Seeker Zusshi

I have Scooter, and I've tried him out on Zusshi. Works pretty well. I can think of a new strategy. I'm posting because I'm surprised that I'm having to come up with one. I think part of the problem is that the waterbug stuns more? Maybe that's just a streak of bad luck, getting stunned while the bu...

Seeker Zusshi

Is anyone else having a hard time with Seeker Zusshi since 5.3? I used to breeze past him using the slimeling strategy suggested in the stickied post, but since 5.3 I can't use a slimeling vs. Diamond. Diamond kills the slime every time, or close enough as makes no difference. So I switched to the s...

Re: PvP Pet Battles - achieving 10% win rate?

I think that's just the learning curve. It's really tough and discouraging, but it's the nature of the beast. You start out & you'll end up facing people who do the pvp battles all the time, and they'll be better than you, and they'll win. I almost wrote a whine post myself after my first dozen batt...

Re: What is the one pet I should upgrade?

I ran across this WarcraftPets forum post a while back: http://www.warcraftpets.com/community/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1620. It lists the upgrades stones by family, in order of value. It's a subjective list but should help you think through what your priorities might be when using that f...

Re: leveling pets without a lvl 25.

Getting your first team of pets to 25 is a slog. That's all there is to it, really. The one piece of advice that I read, which I thought was good, was to get started on as second team as soon as possible. If your main team are level 9s, pick out some 1s and 2s and get them up to 4 or 5 by weaving th...

Re: Fastest way to level a pet

I'm just starting to get a system down for trainer leveling a pet, so I thought I'd share. I seem to be leveling 2 lowbies & one captured rare every time I run through the trainers. I'm satisfied with that number. There might be a better way, but I like mine because it's not too fiddly. The first th...
