I just had the fortune of losing a rare Wild Jade Hatchling because I was trying to power level some low level pet and died in the process; can you alt+F4 out of the pet fight to save the pet or something?

I've been trying to find a humanoid pet that I really like, and I have a bunch where I'm like "wow I like him for ____", but I haven't found one that my brain automatically says "this is my go to pet for this type"; like when I think beast I go to my crystal spider for web -> stun -> spiderlings. Eh I was trying to find an Addon to stop auto-summon so I wouldn't have to use another macro

The most annoying thing to deal with is having a pet auto-summon when I shift things around, is there something out there that will just remove that and not interfere with what I got?

Killing wild pets?
Capturing wild pets?
Beating NPC tamers?
