Re: Larger than normal pets?

This doesn't directly answer your question, but in case you're interested... All currently known wild pets that come in different sizes: - Desert Spider (2 different sizes) - Frostfur Rat (2) - Golden Civet Kitten (2) - Leopard Tree Frog (2) - Parched Lizard (2) - Wildhammer Gryphon Hatchling (3) - ...

Re: BfA Wild Pet discussion

I don't have the Crimson Octopode yet either, but I'd probably aim for a PP on it. Speed version isn't very fast, and you're losing around 100 damage per hit/max hit each round compared to power version. Or I suppose if you're going for some sort of durability build, then HH would also work, but fra...

Re: How do you level your pets?

I have alts parked at various Pandaria tamers, so that's the "easiest" route for me. I've done Squirt-day once... didn't enjoy it in the slightest, so back to Pandaria for me.

Re: silithid hatchling

There's no schedule. I'd recommend either realm hopping if possible (or if you have toons on multiple servers, send them out there as well) or just leave a toon in the area and log on every 15 min or so. No reason to do a dedicated camp for it.

Re: Perky Pug

Queueing for random dungeons is how you get the pug. I believe you need to finish the dungeon, IIRC? I've gotten the achieve on multiple toons from doing timewalking mostly... if you do the timewalking quest each time it's up you'll get your pug pretty quick!

How on earth do you run raids like this on LFR?

NPC Lorewalker Han that allows you to solo Que for Panda LFR's inside the Seat of Knowledge.
Just pick the raid wing you want access to. It pops you in a short queue and then you go in solo.

Re: Visual Guide to Collecting Wild Pet Colors

Creepy Crawly is a 100% unique skin, so no big deal there. The Sand Scarab appears to have the "brown with beige and yellow markings" at first glance (like the Giant Woodworm, etc.), but it's actually unique, color-wise. Besides just being the alternate model, it doesn't have the gray and red on th...

Re: Raiding With Leashes VI LFR

Today I learned about LFR in regards to raids and I am now much less confused when I started today thinking people couldn't solo the old pandaria dungeons. LFR version is actually "harder" than 10 normal since it's set up for 25 people (just more health on bosses really). So I saved it for after I ...

I think you mean "virtually" since "literally" means "To be understood exactly as written"..
You're right... (slinks away). Though I haven't gotten it done so for me it would be literally impossible. ;)

Re: Family Battler

Kwint is literally impossible with certain families. Not impossible, but very very RNG based, for especially Elemental. Oh I know it can be done (hence "literally" impossible... heavy RNG based strats are never ideal since the fail rate can be so high) but the poster above was claiming it was claim...

Re: Family Battler

Got 64 (or 72 can't remember) PC's off Leana Darkwind. Again, you have to study things a bit so you know how to come back to it. The Jelly is good, and so is Wolpertinger, and I only got to my Dragonkin once when the turkey only had 200 hit points. Kwint is not hard. Darkmoon Central and Ikky. But ...

Re: Family Battler

That leaves 19 available and you need 15. From a random wowhead comment I gathered that Leana in SSV, Kwint in Tiragarde and Fizzie in Drustvar should be annoying/RNG/hard so those should be avoided if you don't want to waste time. If there is more or worse I don't know, but you got choice, is my p...

Re: Huge nerf to BFA tamers?

What is odd is Chitara, Crawg in a Bog, Spineleaf, Jammer, Sizzik can only be fought when they WQ is up and can only be fought once and it not part of the achievement but their XP still got nerfed? Sizzik is part of the battler achievements, the others are not as apparently all the "single boss" pe...

Re: Huge nerf to BFA tamers?

Like Ranok I still do tamers for charms or stones (don't need either but I can't stop myself from stocking up) but I still do carry pets with BfA tamers. Some make it so easy to carry a level 1 (or even 2 of them) that it's a waste not to do so (i.e. Chitara, Crawg in a Bog, Spineleaf, Jammer, Sizzi...

Re: Whelpling Model Update

The pet upgrades (rats, toads, rabbits etc) and the player race upgrades are some of the best things to happen in the game, in my opinion. The rats look faithful to original. The rabbits are seriously freakish now. The toon "upgrades" were a mess. The player base was so divided at the time and I'd ...

Re: Whelpling Model Update

Nobody could mistake the new Emperor Crab model for the old one. The current model looks nothing like the old one. The current model is not an upgrade. The Emperor Crab model was destroyed, and this replaces it. Was there anything wrong with the original model? No. Was anyone complaining about it? ...
