Re: Honor 400 for a pet is insane..

The equivalent to this for a pvper would be them being able to obtain a pvp skill or item by collecting 1000 pets. It has never made sense to me that rewards for one aspect of the game relate to another. It would only be logical to reward pets for pet content and reward gear/traits/items for PVP fro...

This can be done anywhere you can queue up it isn't specific to a zone or expansion.

Re: Now that Gnomeregan is over ...

I don't want to go much more off topic with the rewards from these dungeons. The Warcraft Pets rating system is based on historical users voting for pets, it's not actually based on current standings. Pets viability change from expansion to the expansion due to a combination of nerfs/buffs and power...

Re: Now that Gnomeregan is over ...

At least, all 4 pets in CT are worth having, and you can find a place for them ... but I'm not sure that I will even be starting two of these dungeons, after seeing the list of pets possible ... embarrassing, is my thought about those "rewards". This is questionable I would say none of the pets fro...

Re: Now that Gnomeregan is over ...

Not sure if your response is on topic or not Uduwudu seems like a bit of a tangent. Lil Rag is fairly common in PVP. Grainne like the Deviate Hatchlings or whatever they are etc. The random pets appear in the back of a lot of fights. At least there would be more of a reason to go in there and get th...

Re: Now that Gnomeregan is over ...

It's been disappointing that the dungeons are all the same boring format with the same bosses. The things that I'd like to be introduced to the new content would be: - means to obtain the random or wild pets within the content - boss rotation within the content. Either via different routes(potential...

Re: Your favourite low key PVP pet

Fragment of Anger used to be a tier pet before undead and the aoe was nerfed. Now it's similar to like a moth or Bonkers.

Feline Familiar is a decent choice really tanky if it can survive.

Hermit Crab is on their. Tbh Boghopper probably needs to drop down a level as it's generally really fragile.

Yeah I didn't even realise it wasn't on their. I'll get it added over the weekend as it's probably tier 2 on there.

Re: BfA Wild Pet discussion

Needleback Pup is ok, I've used it to some success. It's likely to trade with about one pet. I combined it with Celestial Blessing with reasonable results.

Re: Change in PvP Queue matching

I really wish the queuing systems were explained instead of being shrouded in mystery. If they are that worried about win trading why not prevent the same players from meeting more than a few times in a row every 3/6 hours. So far I haven't really noticed too much different really in the quality of ...

Re: From Blizzcon post-Q&A

Hopefully they won't implement a ranked queue system as all that will result in is non stop meta teams especially for people who are good at pet battling. This is because some players would solely run the very best teams every match. It's definitely good they are looking to invest in pet PvP but the...

Put a dragonhawk in your team with quills and conflagration if you wanted the team better round Vs aquatics or critters.

Re: Underwhelmed; a PVE battler's initial BFA thoughts.

I think family achievements work perfectly fine for PVE and would be disappointed if they dropped this element especially as this expansion has provided a broader range of abilities across families. It totally doesn’t work for PVP the amount of players that I’ve seen get crushed running full family ...

Re: Underwhelmed; a PVE battler's initial BFA thoughts.

It’s a shame that the PVE guides generally use the same group of pets for every encounter to simplify the strategies and make them popular with casual players. You don't have to use them. :P They keep them narrow simply because not everyone has 900+ level 25 pets. I know this is why only a narrow s...

Re: Underwhelmed; a PVE battler's initial BFA thoughts.

I read the OPs post as what will be viable in PVE not interesting. There’s loads of interesting things to take away from the new pets: - unique stat allocations essentially reducing wasted stats on pets. See Returned Hatchling and 261 speed. This is super interesting as it is a really artificial way...

Re: Less trivial: two literally OP new pets

I wouldn’t say it’s without protest I’ve reported every new broken ability or pet. I know there’s other players who have done the same. Blizzard are just too arrogant when it comes to pet battles and won’t admit a mistake (I am glad they fixed Moth Balls shame it wasn’t shared in hotfixes like they’...

Re: Underwhelmed; a PVE battler's initial BFA thoughts.

There’s loads of stuff that will be viable in pve released this expansion Boghopper, Foulfeather, Fozling, Bloodfeaster Larva, Elusive Skimmer & Glutted Bleeder. Probably the new families with Sandstorm too. That’s just off the top of my head. Look at the new pets and decide if they will fill a crit...

Re: Less trivial: two literally OP new pets

The mechanical prairie dog is another pet with inflated stats. I can only imagine this is an artificial way that the Devs are ensuring power creep. Gotta have an incentive to play the newest pets.
