I must have wiped out a whole generation of unborn cranes, smashing eggs and disrupting nests. But at least I have a new pet!

Got mine at ~9:10am (PDT) on Durotan at Howling Fjord 68.0, 67.6. Got there a moment too late yesterday morning at around the same time and saw one snapped-up.

Got mine just to the South of Everlook, at (59.01, 52.77). I could go the rest of my life without seeing another Nut Varmint.

I spent the better part of yesterday farming the foxes with no success. Then I realized that the little fox might not want to go with me if it had just seen me heartlessly murder its entire extended family. So I started /hug-ing the foxes before I killed them. Still nothing.

Just snagged a Tiny Green Carp while fishing for the Fish Of the Day! Reports of a Night Elf Hunter zooming around the pools on his raft, laughing and pointing at the pet, are greatly exaggerated. I wasn't laughing.
