This pet can fly unlike the description says. Very cool looking pet. :) I don't use it for dragonkins though. I use it for aquatics and critters. At lvl 21, it can solo lvl 25 critters and aquatics in Valley of the Four Winds.

I started killing bears by Azureload mines for the Infested Bear Cub. This cat dropped on 2nd bear kill. >.< Only uncommon though. :P

For Horde, you can also get turkey from battling Fjord Worg pup as secondary/third pet to battle. I got my 3 rare turkeys doing that in Kamagua. Not exclusive to alliance areas at all.
