Currently still shows up as a crimson whelpling when summoned, but has a ghostly appearance when in a pet battle.

Found a little group at 42;62 in Bastion. There were 2 or 3 kits you could target.

Found as second pet (rare) when I targeted a Glimmerfly.

Do the quests when you follow the Nazmir questline (Horde) and once you unlock the first Vulpine settlement, there is a quest right outside it that awards this little fluff.

Also: Polecats are carnivores, not rodents.

I personally got frustrated of all the farming and being interrupted constantly by other people...so I kept an eye on the AH and managed to buy one for 1900g. That's not much to keep your sanity @vvv@

I was having trouble finding spawns. Every time I went to Coldarra I could find one, maybe two...but after the server reset there were about ten flying around. Had no problems finding a rare then!

After about 3 hours of farming my first one dropped. After that I managed to collect 2 more in 3 days of casual farming (you know, the everlingering 'what if it drops again because maybe they like me' question)...it made me question the droprates!

After 3 days and 600+ kills I got mine. I'm giggling with glee now! It's a popular farm area for both Horde and Alliance so prepare to fight (or die) a lot.
