Easily my favorite new pet. A guildie gave it to me after he got the drop in a mount run.
The provided description is a bit wrong though, while he does send you whispers, if you have in-game sound on YOU CAN HEAR THE WHISPERS in creepy Yogg-Saron voice. Super awesome!! :D
I got a H/P after maybe 50~ nests (wasn't keeping close count). I was hoping for P/P, since it would make his Reckless Strike hit incredily hard, or possibly benefitting his Surge.
I really don't like the rest of his moveset though so I might just stone it, level it, and send it to the non-favorite pet abyss >_>
I picked up two this morning (Happy Easter indeed!) using the flight-path trick. I flew from Hellscream's Watch in Ashenvale to Whisperwind Grove in Felwood.
A few days went by where I could see 3-4 Minfernals on the flight path but all were out of my NPC Interact range. Today however two spawned that the flight path literally takes you right over. I battled and caught both. A P/P and P/B breed, one Poor one Uncommon. Definitely worth using this trick if you're home realm is camped!
I have to say, this guy is a staple of my 'Beasts of Fable' team. Life Exchange is devastating against the 4k+ hp pets, even if you use it at full health it will take 1.3-1.5k off of the enemy. Add in that it can be used while they are using Liftoff/Dive/Burrow and it really makes battling them a breeze.
I do wish he was still flying though, I caught an attack breed and having 340 atk/390 spd above 50% hp was the best!
Done! All pets level 25 and are, including the four RAF pets :D! Also that put me at #1 on Arthas for the time being >:D I still need to get the Deathwatch Hatchling, and pre-order Legion for Nibbles but otherwise I'll just be saving stones/charms for quick Legion collection!
