I built one today with S/S was super happy as it was my first one.

If you want to start with the highest level one, grab one in Zangarmarsh. From the looks of the wowhead battlepet maps, they seem to populate on the south side generally. 

Don't know how many colors they range in.  Currently I have 2 different skins.  Hoping there isn't more than 3 as I'd like to have one of each.  One is a solid blackish blue, the other is yellow with black stripes. A lot like the water snake and rattlesnake skins (unless they too come in multiple colors)

Can confirm finding these guys in Southern Darkshore. Flew over the Grove of the Ancients and paws popped up everywhere. Approx level 3.  They have the hibernate ability and use it, so if you don't trap successfully the first time, you may have to damage them a wee bit more.

Just did this quest in Brill for the horde. I bought my feed from the cooking and feed vendor. The chicken I located was right in the graveyard area nearby for those looking to not spam inside Orgrimmar.

As a kid I played Joust at the arcade with my Pops all the time. Many quarters were lost for the joy of it. I was happy to see it inside WoW. The quests was horrid but worth it. I was saddened I had to choose and know I could never get the other. Though once I had pulled out the pet and realized a teddy bear was the "jouster" I just giggled for the rest of the day. Love it!

I knew I'd get one of these pets as all 3 of my toons over level 80 have mining. What I didn't know was the joyful shriek I would let out when after about 5000+ Cata mines, one finally came to be in my possession. I joyfully showed it to my guild and while they freaked out over the current AH price (at the time around 2k gold) I was gleefully memorizing it to my collection. They call me crazy. I call me happy. Gold can always be farmed for and is limitless. This pet to me was priceless.

I never thought I would get this pet when Wrath was the latest expansion. I was thrilled the day I had my own Warlock Blueberry at last after many moons of shopping for books. Now it seems that the books can spawn 3 or 4 at a time. I'd say it's because Dalaran has emptied out, but the books had to be "read" to respawn I thought. Either way good luck for those of you searching for your own blueberries.

I was heartbroken to find out that you could no longer get the fuel. I love this pet but his battle pack looks so horrible empty. Oh the battle royals of Dalaran.
