WarcraftPets.com Tips

TIP TIP #1: Some pets are listed in more than one category.

TIP TIP #2: When you filter pets by binding, faction, source or rarity, you can sort by item name rather than pet name. Doing so will reveal the item icon in place of the pet icon.

TIP TIP #3: You can print an all-inclusive, fully customized checklist of your minipet collection to use as a reference while you play.

TIP TIP #4: You can search for a specific pet using any word found in the item or pet name. You can also search using a primary color found in the pet, such as "red" or "teal".

TIP TIP #5: Pet-summoning items are quality-coded in white, green, blue, or purple. However, these colors are misleading and usually do not indicate a pet's true value. For example, many white-coded minipets are even more rare than those that are blue or purple.

TIP TIP #6: Every pet that can be sold at auction provides an auction price range. This range can help you determine a good buying or selling price for your small pet.

TIP TIP #7: All pet profiles include a clean and detailed snapshot of the pet. You can click on this snapshot for an even larger view.

TIP TIP #8: The Small Pet FAQ provides many answers to commonly asked questions about small pets.

TIP TIP #9: Every pet profile features an informal commentary by Breanni. This commentary is provided for entertainment purposes and generally does not include any vital information.

TIP TIP #10: Most pets include links to Wowhead, providing you with additional information about pet-related quests, mobs, and items.

TIP TIP #11: You can help support the site in a variety of ways, most of which are free!

TIP TIP #12: Pet rarity is rated as common, uncommon, rare, very rare, extremely rare, or ultra-rare. This rating is determined by the availability of the pet, as well as how easy it is to obtain.

TIP TIP #13: All pet-summoning items on this site are surrounded by brackets to distinguish them from the pet itself. For example, Jubling is summoned by [A Jubling's Tiny Home].

TIP TIP #14: Start your small pet collection! You'll find a ton of useful information in the Minipet Collecting Guide.

TIP TIP #15: Feedback is always appreciated. I welcome your comments, suggestions, and questions.

TIP TIP #16: Pets that "bind when picked up" tend to be more difficult to collect than those that "bind when used".

TIP TIP #17: Improve your game as well as your pet collection with a variety of useful guides.

TIP TIP #18: You can submit a guide to WarcraftPets.com to share your knowledge with your fellow pet collectors and Warcraft enthusiasts.

TIP TIP #19: Pets that "bind when picked up" become soulbound when looted. Soulbound pets are forever bound to the character and cannot be traded or sold to other characters.

TIP TIP #20: Pets that "bind when used" become soulbound as soon as they are first summoned. Soulbound pets are forever bound to the character and cannot be traded or sold to other characters.

TIP TIP #21: You can sort pets by binding, faction, rarity, or source (e.g., vendor, drop, quest, etc.) by using the filters.

TIP TIP #22: When you filter pets by "Dropped", the pet listings include the drop rate for every dropped pet. This enables you to compare every drop rate side by side.

TIP TIP #23: You can rate all of your favorite pets. To rate a pet, visit the pet's profile and click on the Rate it! link above the pet's snapshot.

TIP TIP #24: The Top 10 Pets include the ten most popular pets based on real-time WarcraftPets.com user ratings.

TIP TIP #25: Even the Disgusting Oozeling needs love. If you have an oozeling, be sure to give it a hug. NOTE: WarcraftPets.com is not responsible for any toxicological health problems caused by contact with said oozeling.

TIP TIP #26: The Minipet Events Calendar is a quick-reference guide that features all small pets which can only be obtained during special events.

TIP TIP #27: When you filter pets by "Vendored", the pet listings include the faction of the vendor. This enables you to quickly determine which pets you can purchase within your own faction.

TIP TIP #28: You can customize and track your collection of minipets online, right here at WarcraftPets.com.

TIP TIP #29: Create an account to rate minipets, track your collection, and (eventually) add your comments to small pet profiles.
