The item that teaches this pet's summon spell may be mailed to other characters on the account.

Breanni Says:

I always thought that when you turned in the voucher to get a zergling, it would be more appropriate if you got two! (For those of you who aren't versed in Starcraft lore, two zerglings spawn from every zerg egg. Hence, my lackluster attempt at zergling humor. It will also be my last attempt at zergling humor — I promise.)

If you're lucky enough to have one of these pets, whip it out and run around Dalaran picking fights with any Grunty that someone has out. You won't be disappointed, and you might even anger a few people, like I did when I had three toons with Zerglings out taking on all comers!

Like Doobjanka said, this lil' guy is a lot rare than Grunty. People will be happy to see you with the Zergling if you own it so they can see the fight!

While he will fight Grunty he will generally lose if alone, now if you summon him beside Grunty however they will both pop. Good hunting.

Definatly the pet to have in raids! Now you and grunty owners can ammuse the entire raid like I did in Uldar in between those mob pulls. Just don't get to distracted from the actual raid ;)

When fighting with Grunty, the Zergling does not always lose. From experments my bf and I have done, distance seems to be key. If far apart when summoned, Grunty has more time to shoot the zergling, whereas if close together, the zergling jumps Grunty before he can fire. (so for you zergling owners get right up next to Grunty before you summon, if you want to win! :) )

Very rare to have a Zergling now, had to have bought the original Collector's Edition of the game at which time was very easy to get since WoW hadn't become the success it has now. My only complaint is that Blizz has yet to reskin it to look like an actually Zergling instead of a small Felhunter, maybe they will when SC2 launches they'll get around to it.

It's a Zerglin' Lester. A smaller type of Zerg. It would be out this far unless...Oh s**t!

Stupid jerkbutts on my server always try to kill my poor innocent zergling. The general rule of thumb when it comes to the fights are: Whichever pet is out first will kill the other. A Grunty summoned at max distance has a good chance to kill Zergling - conversely summon Zergling next to grunty to improve your chances. 2 of one pet vs another will always lead to the 1 dying.
Outcomes are: Grunty kills Zerg, Zerg kills Grunty, and a mutual takedown.

Just for some of you collectors out there who have given up on the original CE pets :

After merging your Bnet account with an old original CE account (this account does not need to be an un-used account! Just an account that has not been transformed into a Bnet account!), you may transfer a level 10 character with all three BoA items to your main collector's account, even if the collector's account is not an original CE account, the items will be available to mail to your characters this way!

OK, they have a Zerg pet, and a Marine pet, now all they need to add is a Protoss pet, and the 3 way battle of fate will commence.

OMG it's so ugly that I really should have it, but I feel forced to exclude it. What are the chances that I get Zergling; like zero :(

One of my prized pets. Still haven't met anyone with Grunty. Will be running around on Doomhammer hoping to see someone with him out.
