The blue dragonhawk hatchling is also a mini replica of the mountain of mounts achievement for the alliance.

This beautifully-colored pet has been my favorite of the dragonhawk hatchlings since I first laid eyes on her. Violet, blue, green, all soothing colors, and she's got them all. It's nice to find a little visual respite after being bombarded many of the the more garishly colored environments in the world of Azeroth.

I honestly think that this pet should be sold by the dragonhawk lady and for a cheaper price.Low level toons can't get it as soon as lvl 70's can. This Dealer sure knows how to bug a low level blood elf....... Must.. have...BLUE!

This pet can follow you in flight. It looks rather elegant in the air too! If I had the blue dragonhawk mount, I would have it follow me on there like a parent and baby. :)

Found this on the silvermoon auction house the other day for a buyout of 35 gold and 95 silver on the Muradin server. Definately the cheapest I've seen it go for, at about 30% of it's usual market value. Sellers who don't know it's real value seem to be somewhat rare, though I've seen it happen more than once while looking for it on the AH. Prices also seem to fluctuate and if gold is an issue for you, you're going to have to keep a frequent eye on the listings for it.

In response to Greenasllevs' question - how to get hold of this pet is clearly mentioned in the top section, tells you where you get it from and the fact that it's available to both alliance and the horde.
