Notes:
This pet was formerly known as 'Battle-Bot'. It was available through August 20, 2009 to players who created a Mountain Dew Game Fuel account. A Battle.net account was also required to redeem the pet. Upon signing into the promotion page, the player was able to redeem a Warbot in the mailbox of each current character on his/her account sent by Jepetto Joybuzz in Dalaran. When fueled, Warbots will attack nearby Warbots fueled with the opposing color.

5x Red War Fuel or 5x Blue War Fuel were obtainable each day during the promotion so long as they were retrieved from a character's mailbox before midnight on the same day.

It is unknown whether a method will be added to replenish war fuel in the future.

This Warbot is a gift from Jepetto Joybuzz, a good friend of mine in Dalaran. I deal in exotic creatures and Jepetto deals in wonderous toys. It looks like he put a warning on the back of this one: "Color's the same, all will be tame: red plus blue, a fight will brew." Hmmm... I wonder what will happen if I power my bot with blue fuel and douse my Yeti nemesis with red paint... *evil grin*

The former name "Battle-bot" is trademarked, and this is likely the reason why it was changed.

If you registered for the promotion, a Warbot is sent to every character you make, even after the promotion has ended.

It's a shame Blizzard doesn't give us REAL battle-bots in game. =D

Many people were upset that this pet wasn't available outside of the US. I'd be upset too. I was also sad to find out I couldn't get any of the many Asian-market pets or either of the EU-only pets. I guess it all evens out in the end.

Even though I never had a chance to battle anyone, I think this pet is extraordinary. He isn't the most detailed pet, but it is cool to see them with the red/blue fuel in him. Not many people on my server knew about this promotion, so they're always asking how I got it. Unfortunately, they changed the name due to copyright reasons (most likely), but he is still a charm to have.

I don't think this was mentioned in the description, but if you find someone else with a Warbot and fuel both of your warbots with the same color, the pets will link to each other with Shaman-like lightning. Even better!! If you get more than 2 warbots with the same color together, they link in patterns. I just hope they find a way to sell more fuel because I'm running out :P.

Many people seem to have thought that Horde could only get red fuel and Alli could only get blue fuel. Thankfully this isn't so, so it is possible to fight people of your own faction! Just don't pop out with some blue when there's several red around(or visa-versa), your bot will get owned! :p

Bad thing about it is that you cannot get it if outside of U.S.A.
Good thing,one of the few pets that can kill each other and each new person you make in the game gets one has long has you get it in the next 31:Days or the mail will be deleted.
Last bad thing,right now you may not get refills for battling and that the 'cannot get outside of U.S.A' can make a lot of players mad.

Just wanted to follow up on the US-only of this pet, I have seen someone with one on my Oceanic realm.

So this can't have been only US-servers like the Asian and EU server pets, the promotion required may only have been intended to be available to those in the US.

But a prime example I'd like to use is Grunty, you neither need to attend Blizzcon or have purchased the Direct TV coverage to be able to buy Grunty codes!

I Had tried to set up a battle net account for this guy but failed the pet was still in my mail but when i tried again for chilly this guy came with it

I remember on the EU realms, people walking around with this bot for quite some time. It was never intended to be in a non-US realm, but they enabled it by accident. However, on discovering this, Blizzard did something they actually rarely do: they *took away* the pets that the non-US people had gotten. Talk about your explosive shiftstorms!
