PROMOTION: World of Warcraft Trading Card Game (TCG) |

| Exclusivity: |
Trading Card Game promotion. Loot code required.
|
| Notes: |
This pet is redeemed through the extremely rare 'Kiting' loot card from the World of Warcraft March of the Legion TCG expansion. The card may be scratched to reveal a code allowing a single character access to this pet. The code may be redeemed at Blizzard's promotion retrieval page. The pet may be obtained in-game from Landro Longshot in Booty Bay.
Like the Worg Pup, the Dragon Kite may change its color (black, blue, green, or red) each time it's summoned. Additionally, it may be struck by lightning that travels down the tether and shocks the owner, creating an interesting visual, but doing no damage. Lightning strikes occur about once every 10 minutes (2 minutes when raining). May not be used while mounted. |

 | While this isn't so much of a pet as it is, well... a kite, it still acts like a small pet. For example, when you summon it, it takes the place of any currently summoned minipet. Much like that darn Mechanical Yeti, this pet also mocks my small size. Heck, this pet even dwarfs a Tauren — this thing is ginormous! | |

It's probably one of the most expensive TCG pets - aswell as Ethereal Soul-Plunderer. Atleast in Poland. I was lucky enough to get it as Christmas present from my boyfriend :)
Well, either way, this pet also used to get me yelled at in raids, since it would pop up in the foreground of my fellow raiders' cameras, and scare the daylights out of them. We eventually fixed the problem with pet biscuits, ironically, since not only does it make the kite larger, but it doubles its height, moving it out of the normal camera range.
Of all the pets I have, this one gets me the most tells!
(IE... trades, flasks/food in raids, escorting, etc)
That's right, this is one of, if not the only, pet that despawns when you mount. Kind of sad, in a way. I'd love to see it trailing behind someone moving full tilt on a 310% mount.
HOWEVER... I did stumble upon a bug that allows you to ride on land with your Dragon Kite flying above. If you have it summoned while swimming and then mount up, you can ride onto land and the kite will NOT despawn, interestingly enough.
I got Papa Hummels AND my Dragon Kite!
And this one is sooo cool. Especially the animation, when a lighting strucks into it! Awesome!
