Breanni Says:

Prairie dogs are very small — possibly the smallest pets available. I find them to be the perfect size for a gnome like me! Ironically, they’re sold by the tauren, the largest race in Azeroth. I weep for the prairie dogs that are regularly smooshed by clumsy tauren. Come to think of it, I weep for the gnomes that are regularly smooshed by clumsy tauren. Poor Binky...

This pet just doesn't seem to fit as well as the other town pets fit. A Plainstrider or Baby Kodo might have been a better choice.

Despite being one of the easier pets to obtain, I found this one to be one of the cuter pets. The facial grooming is really adorable and fairly frequent, and I rarely see other Alliance players with a prairie dog out. I still commonly have people ask where to obtain it.

The prairie dog was the greatest pet in the game for Druids and Rogues. Not sure when they changed it, but WAY back when it was combat active, or players and mobs could attack it.

Taking it out in Felwood and then seeing it run crazy for a split second as a wolf ran over to eat it was great fun. Or killing someone’s prairie dog was just too much fun.
I think this little guy sent us both down the path of collecting every pet to see what cool things you could do with them.

admittedly my least favorite pet, it's like a tailless squirrel and I can barely see it, they need to replace this pet with a Kodo Calf, makes alot more sense, and less likely to become roadkill under a Taurens hoof

I agree that might be really neat!

Of the faction pets, this was the hardest to get as Halpa is well hidden behind some tents. This lend credence that there ARE Tauren Rogues, but they're just so good that we can't see them.

I am pretty sure that this pet is the exact same model of the gopher you obtain in the quest Blue Leaf Tubers. The gopher, however has limited charges, is only available during the quest and is only usable inside Razor Fen Kraul. However... I found the gopher a pain to find. It took me several minutes to discover the path to the vendor... does that make me stupid?
