This pet's drop rate from a [Brightly Colored Egg] is estimated at about 1 in 100, although it may be lower. The 100 [Noblegarden Chocolate] required to purchase the pet may be obtained by looting Brightly Colored Eggs found during the event throughout all level 5 starter towns. This pet's special animation enables it to fall in love with any nearby Spring Rabbit it sees. The two will prance around, shooting out small eggs, which spawn patches of flowers and baby bunnies. Additionally, this pet will leap great distances to the player's feet.

Two spring rabbits are running from a pack of ravenous whelplings. After a quick sprint around a bend, they duck into a stand of blackroot. Out of breath, one of the rabbits turns to the other and says, "Holy Wolpertinger! What are we going to do?" The other rabbit pants back, "The way I see it we only have two options. Either we keep running and hope that we can escape or we stay here until we outnumber them."

Let me tell you about the Spring Rabbit. This pet helps us to answer the age-old question of, "Where do babies come from?" Well, boys and girls, when a mommy and daddy love each other VERY MUCH, they stand in close proximity to each other and hearts grow over their heads. Then grass and flowers grow out of the ground and with a BOING, little babies come popping out of nowhere! And that is what we call, the "magic of reproduction."

This rabbit can also fall out of love - when it's brokenhearted a tiny heart above the rabbit's head will crack to a forlorn musical cue.

This is my favorite pet to get out when I have my two accounts out farming together. I wish I could scoop up all the cute little baby bunnies.

With this pet x2, Spring is most definitely in the air.

Edit: This pet now also mates with the Turkey and makes baby bunnies which hatch from eggs... I think in a wierd way that makes sence.

I like this pet, it chases around other spring rabbits that are around. It would be nice if it interacted with the other bunnies too. But it reminds me of Thumper from Bambi. Who knows, maybe it is him! After all, we have Bambi and Flower! Just going with everyone else who's made a Bambi connection in WoW! Now if he would only thump when he gets overly excited!

Farmt 100 chocolates for it and then found it after 2 eggs... what a waste of chocolates >.<' And 30min later i found another one!

They fall out of love when a spring rabbit they've mated with runs away. That's when you get the heartbreak icon and sound. Sad times!

Also, this little guy will run off a ways, or get left behind while you're mounted, and then take an enormous LEAP to get back right on top of you! Very cute.

A very neat pet, but a shame he doesn't have the pink rabbit model you see frequently during Noblegarden.

I'm glad that I acquired one. This model used to be the snowshoe rabbit, but was switched when Blizz decided to add the spring rabbit. This pet can't keep up with your mounts. It likes to stop a lot but it'll stop for too long. It'll never catch up to you, even when it jumps. Eventually it will be dismissed on its own.

One of the first pets I had to work for. I ran around collecting eggs for a few hours to buy him with 100 chocolate cos he never dropped! XD Was worth it getting the achievment for bunny love in every Horde City though :)

last year was the first time I was logged on for noblegarden, I has the greatest of luck that the first egg I pick up dropped this pet, but sadly it never happened again. I love taking this pet out and running around finding other people with spring rabbits. It's so much fun to watch them fall in love, and then I run off suddenly and they fall out of love. it's so cute, and if you just sit there for awhile look at the rabbits face. it's cute little nose really twitches!
