Breanni Says:

And here I present to you the tiny spore bat: more useful than a full-sized hunter's pet sporebat in nearly every way. While the two perform the same rudimentary function — idling about and displaying their beautiful colors — at least the tiny sporebat doesn't use up a stable slot!

Since the patch 3.2.2, this is one of the pets that has learned how to fly fast enough and high enough to keep up with epic flying mounts.

At level 80, there is a quick way to get this little guy! Just repeat the quest Bring Me a Shrubbery! You get the Sanguine Hibiscus' needed for this quest from the Underbog. Just run this dungeon several times while making sure to collect the Sanguine Hibiscus' that spawn. After each run through, reset the instance and go again. You can repeat this until your locked out of the dungeon. By then, you've most likely collected several stacks of Sanguine Hibiscus! It took me only about 2 1/2 hours.

The Sporebat appears to be one of the smallest pets in the game as far as size (it is a TINY sporebat, literally!)

It looks especially minuscule compared to some of the larger pets such as the Kirin Tor Familiar or the Little Fawn. This makes it all the more cute!

If you don't like running Underbog over and over again, [Now that we're still friends...] is another good way to grind rep. At 750 a pop you might yet be at it for a while, but as its repeatable and has no lock-out limit, you can kill nagas to your heart's content. they have a large spawn area and quick respawn time, so I was only left waiting around for slavers to pop once or twice. The glow shows up really well in darker areas if you want to show this beauty off.

There's a repeatable quest once your hit Friendly with Sporregar that is quite easy and not a daily so you can do it as much as you'd like. Bring along some water-walking elixirs and you can zip across the lake to kill nagas and be back in a flash. While this pet is quite small, it's also one of the loveliest -- with it's subtle glow and sprinkling of pink spores. It was also changed in a patch to fly a bit higher -- mid-back on a Draenai -- whereas before it flew at ankle height.

A very cute pet! I love it's glow :) For the Sporeggar rep I did a combination of the naga killing quest and the hibiscus collecting. Ended up getting some off the AH when I got close to exalted.

For all of you who may be in the process of reaching exalted with Sporeggar through some of the handy methods mentioned above. Don't forget to go grab the quest "Fhwoor Smash!" when you finish up your rep grind. It's only available at exalted status and you might miss it as an 80, so you may want to turn on low level quest tracking. It's a very fun quest that caps off your grind and finishes the Sporeggar questlines/story. The quest starts with Fhwoor, the big purple Boglord.
