Cockroach

In a recent patch, Blizz made some changes to this pet: they made it bigger.

Because that's what we all want -- bigger cockroaches. :-(

Occassionally, this pet will also fly up into the air a little. A great pet for pally tanks, as both can survive just about anything!

Odd how this pet only has a 39% liked rating, but in the collection stats it is the most collected! ROACHES EVERYWHERE!! D:

Every pet collector collects as many pets as they possibly can, doesn't mean we have to like every single one of them. Personally, this cockroach is one I prefer to stay hidden under the floor boards!
For any pet that comes from the opposite faction, make the effort to travel to a neutral auction house, and save yourself on the added expenses usually associated to your faction auction house.

I actually find this pet rather cool. When I tried it out, I was surprised how real its movements were from legs to antennae and how it would catch up by fluttering. Only gripe is as I travel, I see its revealed behind more than any other part of it which isn't an ideal view. ;p

When those crazy engineers finally invent the nuclear bomb, and consequently blow up Azeroth, these universally hated little guys will have the last laugh.

I happen to own two of this pet. One on my Human Warlock the other on my Blood Elf Hunter. I still can't stand this pet. I only bring him out when showing off my pet collection to people.

If you eat a Magic Eater (fished from Dalaran Sewers) you have a chance to turn into a Wisp, a Green Whelp, a Basilisk or a COCKROACH! *awesome* I love running around as a Cockroach and having my Raptor chase me. Or you can "swarm" with your Cockroach pet! The effect is random and fun for those easily amused.

"I collected my first specimen today; a Cockroach. Old Jeremiah Payson sits in an alcove under the banks in the grand Undercity's common area. He's taken to collecting cockroaches. Amazing little critters, and loyal he says as well. I bet the plague could have consumed all of Azeroth and these guys would have survived to tell the tale.

Now if only I could keep mine off my shoulder long enough for me to leave my sanctuary without him for once..."

I'm suprised the this is the most Common pet, because the vendor lives under a bridge and is surrounded by his pets, That actually sounds like a good idea for a Hobo, sell the cockroaches that feed on your filthy clothes to people who want a disease infested bug as a pet (which is alot of people apparently) and make some cash.

Im undead and I love this little guy. When im just sat there he suits me perfectly :)

Got this one on the AH, and thought it was pretty cute, despite being a roach.
I'm known (slightly) for my ability to make the funniest of pet emotes, (typed, of course) and this cockroach got a very special one. While waiting on people in the waters of Maraudon, I begin typing: Finnassa's Cockroach begins to drown under the water. Bob! No!

And the name has stuck. Now Bob is a crazy terrorist bug that tries to blow me up... think it's from drowning and coming back alive... *locks prison again*
