This pet was available for a limited time as an incentive to players to merge their existing WoW account(s) with a Battle.net account. The accounts must have been merged by November 11, 2009 to receive the pet. After successfully merging their accounts, players received Mr. Chilly via an in-game mail. All future characters on that account will also receive the pet.

Let me tell you about Mr. Chilly. When this little guy arrives in your mail and you "learn" him, the egg stays in your inventory so that you may mail him to future alts in case he gets deleted or something happens. He is much like WOTLK's Frosty or last years Big Blizzard Bear. It is a good idea to store one in the bank just in case, and delete him on your other characters if you wish!

This precious little guy has the same vocalizations as Pengu. But, his stature is a bit smaller. And, his swim animation is identical to Pengu's, as well.

I'm a little disappointed that there is no interaction between the 2 penguins, I think this would be a perfect time for either some good vs evil penguin battles! Or mebbe some good natured follow the leader, penguin style!

To the people not getting their penguin, a server restart might be needed. Worst case scenario is that he will arrive after next maintenance. Don't open tickets, that will only waste GM's time. If you have not gotten him by Nov 11 then it's safe to open a ticket cause something is wrong :)

For now, just be patient.

After some research i have come to the conclussion that Breanni and the Kalu'ak might be used for spreading the Lich Kings latest batch of death knight penguins!
I mean look at the eyes, Pengu has the red eyes of Blood. Mr. Chilly, the blue eyes of Frost.
Luckly we haven't see one with green eyes of Unholy yet.

Cute pet, I was thinking his name might be a reference to the old "Chilly Willy the penguin" cartoon.

Lets talk about Mr.Chilly. He loves the fight. WHen i was slaying undead,he started to clap excitedly. I found this odd. I guess this little penguin might have some ulterior motives. ( gleam enters eye). Maby he was clapping for the enemeny. Maby him and all the other penguins of the world are going to take over!!!!!!(penguingeddon!) lol

This pet is worth it, and don't think he is just another Pengu. Pengu is large in appearence, and Mr. Chilly is smaller. It is also quite obvious that they are completely different colors. Mr. Chilly is certainly unique.

Anyone that did not get their pet last week should have gotten it today. I was one of the many that thought poor Chilly was lost forever.

If you still haven't got Mr. Chilly, try the following:

- Log in on EU/US Battle.net
- Change your password
- Relog onto WoW
- Receive Mr. Chilly

A GM suggested these steps to Aldun, one of our members, and he confirmed that it works. Apparently doing this refreshes your account details and "checks" if you received the penguin.

This pet seems to still be available, at least on EU realms. I helped my GF merge up her two accounts yesterday after a few months of inactivity. I thought she'd not receive Chilly, but upon logging in she received him on both accounts.

As of patch 3.3, Mr. Chilly now has its new icon (already used by Breanni), and appears to be bound on pick-up, no longer bound to account.

Does it mean it's also the end of the Mr. Chilly promotion ?

It would be great to hear from newly created characters whether they received their Mr. Chilly.

Edit : does being downrated mean that it might be different on US servers and on EU serveurs ?

the only difrens betwen the pangiu and mr.chilly is the eye coler mr.chilly has blue and the other hase red!

Mr. Chilly does respond to /sexy! He just does not respond every time. Keep trying, and eventually he will rapidly scoot away from you while leaving a frosty cloud in his wake.
